Previous experience interacting with children is preferred. Must be 15 or older with reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to focus for periods of time with attention to detail is essential. Strong and effective communication skills with the ability and desire to provide quality customer service is essential. Aquatics/Lifeguard Job Summary Under the direction and supervisor of the Aquatics Coordinator, Lifeguard & Swim Instructors are responsible for watching their assigned zone according to the 10/20 rule of protection. Lifeguard & Swim Instructors are also responsible for organizing and teaching swimming classes to children of various ages.
