Assist with all Aquatic operations of the Athletic Department in such a manner to ensure the highest level of success. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities. Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities. Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly. Monitoring students to prevent accidents and injuries. Implementing ground rules for each swim session. Planning swimming lessons that consider students' abilities and progressive development. Handle any emergencies that may arise and complete all necessary paperwork. Complete all administrative tasks given by the H & W Director. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds in weight. Uniforms:Instructors are required to wear SafeSplash uniforms which include logoed female one piece suits and male board shorts. SafeSplash Swim School will cover 50% of the cost of one uniform per calendar year per employee. Additional uniforms must be purchased by the employee from SafeSplash Swim School at or below cost.
