Services include instructional delivery, simulation operation and maintenance, Instructional System Design, and training support. The Instructor II (Field) will conduct and administer various classroom courses conducted at FAA's Field sites. The Instructor I (Field) may be qualified to teach multiple courses and conduct simulation training. Ability to swim and prepare administrative paperwork. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must stay current in CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually. (Training provided by the Y, if needed) Must complete all required Annual Compliance Trainings within 30 days of hire and renewed annually. Must be 16 years of age and show technical ability in swim skill instruction. Proven experience as a swim coach or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methods. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to motivate and inspire athletes. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Duties * Effectively plan and conduct daily workouts for a class of 20+ participants. * Explain proper technique and demonstrate the exercise. * Prepare appropriate equipment for each class with the assistance of daily waterpark staff. * Provide excellent customer service and possess a service philosophy that reflects the mission of the Parks and Recreation Department. * Follow directions from the MPRD Supervisor and Site Manager. * Instruct daily aerobics classes. * Regularly communicate with the MPRD Supervisor to ensure all organizational goals are met. * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative professional working relationships with others, individually and in a team environment. * Other duties as assigned.
