MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• 4-year business or technical degree plus minimum 3 years administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, including minimum of 3 years construction project administration
• Ability to keyboard 65-75 WPM accurately
• Advanced knowledge and use of word-processing and spreadsheet software
• Proficient in use of general office procedures and office machines
• Proficient English verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner

Job Description:
A Superintendent directs the work flow of the project on site consistent with the project schedule and HITT safety and quality standards. Qualifications
* A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.

* 5+ years' experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor
* Tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, fast paced project experience all a plus

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have Healthcare project experience (HCAI is a plus)
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications
• Field experience (Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent)
• Effective written and verbal communications skills and organizational skills
• 3 - 4 years construction experience
• 1+ years scheduling and estimating experience

• Able to perform all essential Project Engineer responsibilities • Attend and document project meetings (write minutes) • Set up and maintain project filing system • Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs
• Distribute all documents to subcontractors, maintain document logs
• Assist with preparation of CPM schedules
• Assist with updating and maintaining master CPM schedule
• Evaluate field problems and document RFI's
• Prepare and maintain RFI logs on CMIC system
• Review, evaluate, and transmit submittals
• Prepare and maintain submittal logs
• Prepare and maintain expediting log
• Perform expediting functions
• Verify original estimate quantities for labor cost reports
• Report quantities in place and maintain labor cost report
• Cost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheets
• Prepare and document extra work orders
• Review and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveys
• Maintain reference log on CMIC
• Maintain progress photo album
• Compile contract close out documents (O&M manuals, as builts, etc.)
• Document punch list work
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned

• Minimum 2 years as Project Engineer
• Field experience desirable - e.g. carpenter
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Effective written and verbal English language communication skills
• Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting
• Drafting and computer skills desirable
