Position Requirements:
* Associate's Degree or High School Diploma (equivalent) with relevant work experience

Assistant Roving Crew Supervisor

Purpose To assist in the management major construction, maintenance, and renovation projects within the various parks throughout the Columbus and Franklin County Metropolitan Park District. Acts as Roving Crew Supervisor in his/her absence.
Assisting in the planning, directing, and coordinating activities of Roving Crew performing construction projects involving grading, drainage, utility installation, maintenance, roadways, parking lots, facilities, trails, etc.
Constructing projects consistent with plans developed by internal and/or external design professionals.
Analyzing processes and procedures and seeking/implementing more efficient methods for improving performance in scheduling and productivity.
Implementing and ensuring adherence to all safety standards.
Supervising Roving Crew personnel, including scheduling, training, assigning and reviewing work, motivating and rewarding employees, conducting performance evaluations, recommending/administering discipline, approving time cards and leave requests, addressing employee issues, etc.
Working with the Roving Crew Supervisor and Park Managers to schedule projects and identify sources to accomplish projects, such as facility renovations, infrastructure improvements, etc.
Assisting in the development the Roving Crew budget and assisting in the development of budgets for renovations and construction projects; monitoring budget expenditures; following purchasing and bidding procedures.
Determining the type of equipment, material, and time required for work projects and scheduling accordingly.
Working along with the Roving Crew and park staff on projects, where/when needed.
Operating heavy equipment as required.
Estimating costs for Roving Crew department projects and assisting other Metro Parks' managers with project cost estimates.
Working with contractors in the performance of their duties.
Making recommendations to the Roving Crew Supervisor regarding major maintenance work on facilities.
Promoting the Park District through public contact.
Overseeing the maintenance of vehicles and equipment assigned to Roving Crew; ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment; ordering parts; arranging for repairs with outside service companies; recommending purchases of new equipment; performing complex or unusual repairs on equipment as necessary.
Performing special projects and related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in construction or related field preferred and considerable experience in the construction field including some supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of safety practices and procedures, principles of construction equipment operation, and the latest techniques, practices, materials, and equipment currently used in facility and building construction.

The Crew Planner is responsible for the effective utilization of crew resources and developing long-range staffing plans in compliance with company policy and FAA regulations through the use of analytical tools. Liaise with internal departments regarding staffing plans. The crew planner must provide exceptional customer service to the crewmembers and internal customers within other departments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop long term staffing plans for pilots.
Facilitate 6 month schedule bid and vacation bid.
Facilitate monthly PBS schedule bid.
Monitor and adjust crewmembers schedules due to program movement to ensure adequate staffing and effective crew utilization.
Analyze monthly staffing requirements against owner demand in order to proactively manage any short-term staffing deficits.
Responsible for scheduling coordination of OE tours and PIC upgrades.
Ensure accurate updates to crewmember s schedules in CAMP, the company s centralized aviation database.
Coordinate implementation of staffing/training plans with various departments.
Research and resolve conflicts regarding crew schedules.
Update ILC schedules in CAMP based on aircraft commander crew schedules.
Reconcile crewmember s schedules to ensure accurate crew payroll reporting to HR. This includes paid time off, overtime and per diem reporting.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Director.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business or aviation preferred.
Required two to four years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience or a Flexjet employee with proven results within the company.
Required two years related experience either in a Scheduling or Planning environment at a 135 or 121 airline operation; equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior Planning or Scheduling experience within Flexjet preferred.

Experience Needed
Minimum 1-3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience, required. Previous quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
Must be ServSafe certifiable

Functions:
Operations
Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts. Strive for operational levels that meet or exceed the Fan's expectations in the areas of quality, service and atmosphere, creating value through an excellent experience and a fair price. Accurately complete designated duties such as inventory control, ordering of products, cash control.
Training
Ensure that shift leads and crew are trained and fully knowledgeable on all PRIDE systems and routines, product recipes, food safety practices and restaurant safety practices.
Ensure that all PRIDE systems and routines are incorporated into the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, setting each scheduled shift up for success.
Business Planning
Assist in the execution of the restaurant's business plan as directed by the GM, taking advice and coaching from the owner, GM, ADQ Business Consultants, field staff or territory operator.
Understand how to react to issues impacting the restaurant's profit & loss (P&L) to optimize sales and profit, such as analyzing COGS and taking corrective action if necessary, maintaining inventory, projecting restaurant demand changes throughout the year and adjusting labor accordingly, ensuring that cash control/security procedures are followed, and understanding the P&L implications of workers' compensation claims.
Assist the GM with developing and implementing strategies to increase average meal checks and frequency of Fan visits.
Fan Service
Ensure that Fan service in all areas meets or exceeds company standards.
Establish standards for the management team and crew to handle customer concerns.
Ensure that customer complaints are promptly and appropriately addressed to resolve the problem and ensure that each dissatisfied customer becomes a return Fan.
Understand the importance of speed of service and resolve bottlenecks in work flow.
Build relationships with return or preferred patrons.
Team Member Leadership
Accomplish store objectives by assisting the GM with hiring, training, coaching and developing shift leads and crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team.
Assist the GM with thorough training and new hire orientations; clearly communicate job expectations; monitor each employee and manager's performance and job contributions, provide ongoing and helpful feedback against expectations.
Role model and enforce policies and procedures.
At a minimum, have a basic understanding of how to prepare hourly employee schedules to meet the staffing requirements for each day part and seasonal demands, as determined by the GM. Ideally, should be able to perform this task for review and approval by the GM.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all restaurant staff to foster and promote a cooperative and pleasant working climate, which will be conducive to maximizing employee morale, productivity and efficiency.
Health and Safety Standards
Assist the GM with ensuring that Food Safety is the top training priority in store operations. Ensure that proper hand washing, product rotation procedures, and temperature logging are visible and active behaviors. Role model and enforce safe food handling practices.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, complying with health and legal regulations and maintaining security systems or routines.
Understands how to react in the event of an emergency such as a workers compensation accident, a robbery, etc.
Store Marketing
Bring useful ideas to management about how to attract new Fans and increase restaurant sales through marketing promotions and activities.
May assist the GM in some assigned aspects of local store marketing activities and projects such as public and community relations programs, evaluating local competitors' store marketing, identifying and tracking changing consumer demands.

This is a working Foreman position leading a 36-person crew installing underground utilities including sanitary sewer mains and laterals, storm sewer piping/precast structures/detention systems, water mains and water service lines.
Job Summary:
A Pipe Foreman supervises and works on the layout, assembly, and installation of various types and sizes of underground utility infrastructure. As a Pipe Foreman, you will lead a team in overseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and managing project timelines and budgets. With core skills in OSHA compliance, project scheduling, and construction management, you will supervise and coordinate activities on construction sites effectively. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Outlook will be needed for daily job reporting and project communication. Additionally, your relevant skills in blueprint reading, quality control, and construction estimating will contribute to the successful completion of pipeline projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill large pipe and culverts
Study project specifications with Superintendent to plan procedures for pipe installation sequencing
Responsible for the management and safety of pipe crew
Inspect work site to determine sequencing and method of pipe installation and survey for potential hazard or safety concerns
Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints
Utilize construction management software to track progress and allocate resources efficiently
Oversee quality control measures to ensure compliance with project specifications
Enforce company policies
Use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, eye levels and transit levels to set appropriate grade for pipe installation
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience supervising installation of pipe and culvert on heavy civil projects
Current OSHA 30 or greater

GPS Topcon experience a plus
