    JOB PURPOSE This position is responsible for the fabrication of high paced precision manufacturing components. A machine operator will run machining equipment and is responsible for the loading/unloading, measuring, and making routine dimensional adjustments. Machine Operators must follow all operator instructions along with strict adherence to the Safety and Quality System. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to all Safety Principles. Adhere to all Quality System Standards. Operate simple to complex automated machines including Press, Swedging, Chemical washer, and Packaging Make required adjustments to maintain specifications utilizing engineering drawings, verbal instructions, written Operator instructions and boundary samples. Process components within established operator cycle times. Measure components and test complete assemblies using calibrated test and measuring equipment. Prepare required written documentation, ie. Product Acceptance Records, Nonconforming Material Reports. Adhere to guidelines and procedures to ensure the safe handling, removal, and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous materials. All other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. 3-6 months related experience and/or training. Ability to read and understand Safety Rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and engineering drawings. Ability to operate Automated Equipment. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Ability to use calibrated test and measuring equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with work group. Ability to apply problem solving techniques and implement corrective action. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in an operational manufacturing environment. While performing regular duties, this position is exposed to various chemicals and solvents. May require working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching, and full range of body motion including handling and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, manual and finger dexterity, as well as a normal range of hearing and vision.
