Salary: $14.25 per hour
Work Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Days and hours vary; 2 Days Off per Week

General Job Duties: Process donated and purchased items for distribution to the sales floor; ensure POS Solutions Inventory System processes are followed according to company guidelines and established production quotas are met. Sort, hang, categorize merchandise (textiles, shoes, electrical/mechanical and wares items) for grading and pricing by using computer grading system. Maintain current Open and Closed work batches and other production data pertaining to processed goods; knowledge and understanding of Kaizen practices that focus on continuous improvement throughout all aspects of production area. Use Material handling equipment/supplies to transport, move and sort donations. Responsible for the overall appearance of work area; perform all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store. Other duties as requested. Open availability of schedule preferred (Store open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM).
Skills/Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required. One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred. Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS Solutions Inventory System, grading and pricing system); make pricing decisions based on quality of product; meet quotas. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
Physical Requirements: Physical stamina needed to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching (6 ft. with use of ladder, if needed); and pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds, heavier lifting may be required with assistance; sufficiently mobile to work in any area of the facility.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Associate is responsible for loading and unloading donated goods using a hand truck (dolly), sorting textiles at a sufficient pace, distributing donated goods for processing and shipping or future storage, performing basic record keeping functions and other basic retail operations duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers by greeting and accepting donations at donation station. Issue donor receipt in friendly and courteous manner. Handle and sort donated goods into appropriate containers.
Load, unload and move donated goods, materials, including furniture using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow of production cycle and to distribute donated materials.
Supply Team Members with materials, boxes, barrels, containers, etc. by walking stations to identify and restock supplies.
Sorting and pricing of donated items, garments and hard lines with limited supervision; monitoring and recording production levels. Tagging, rotating and placing products on shelves per guidelines.
Keep aisles free from debris, remove obstructions from production and sales floors. Ensure work areas and facilities remain clean and organized. Inform Team Leader or Manager of possible safety hazards.
Keep work area clean by sweeping, emptying trash cans and disposing of trash in appropriate containers.
Maintain good housekeeping standards.
Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures.
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions and/or concerns in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Associate is responsible for loading and unloading donated goods using a hand truck (dolly), sorting textiles at a sufficient pace, distributing donated goods for processing and shipping or future storage, performing basic record keeping functions and other basic retail operations duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers by greeting and accepting donations at donation station. Issue donor receipt in friendly and courteous manner. Handle and sort donated goods into appropriate containers.
Load, unload and move donated goods, materials, including furniture using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow of production cycle and to distribute donated materials.
Supply Team Members with materials, boxes, barrels, containers, etc. by walking stations to identify and restock supplies.
Sorting and pricing of donated items, garments and hard lines with limited supervision; monitoring and recording production levels. Tagging, rotating and placing products on shelves per guidelines.
Keep aisles free from debris, remove obstructions from production and sales floors. Ensure work areas and facilities remain clean and organized. Inform Team Leader or Manager of possible safety hazards.
Keep work area clean by sweeping, emptying trash cans and disposing of trash in appropriate containers.
Maintain good housekeeping standards.
Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures.
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions and/or concerns in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.

Salary: $14.25 per hour

General Job Duties: Process donated and purchased items for distribution to the sales floor; ensure POS Solutions Inventory System processes are followed according to company guidelines and established production quotas are met. Sort, hang, categorize merchandise (textiles, shoes, electrical/mechanical and wares items) for grading and pricing by using computer grading system. Maintain current Open and Closed work batches and other production data pertaining to processed goods; knowledge and understanding of Kaizen practices that focus on continuous improvement throughout all aspects of production area. Use Material handling equipment/supplies to transport, move and sort donations. Responsible for the overall appearance work area; perform all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store. Other duties as requested. Open availability of schedule preferred (Store open 7 days a week).
Skills/Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required. One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred. Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS Solutions Inventory System, grading and pricing system); make pricing decisions based on quality of product; meet quotas. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
Physical Requirements: Physical stamina needed to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching (6 ft. with use of ladder, if needed); and pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds, heavier lifting may be required with assistance; sufficiently mobile to work in any area of the facility.
Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, background check, drug screen and physical examination.

Qualifications
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Associate is responsible for loading and unloading donated goods using a hand truck (dolly), sorting textiles at a sufficient pace, distributing donated goods for processing and shipping or future storage, performing basic record keeping functions and other basic retail operations duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION ARE DONATION ATTENDANT DUTIES.
Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers by greeting and accepting donations at donation station. Issue donor receipt in friendly and courteous manner. Handle and sort donated goods into appropriate containers.
Load, unload and move donated goods, materials, including furniture using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow of production cycle and to distribute donated materials.
Supply Team Members with materials, boxes, barrels, containers, etc. by walking stations to identify and restock supplies.
Sorting and pricing of donated items, garments and hard lines with limited supervision; monitoring and recording production levels. Tagging, rotating and placing products on shelves per guidelines.
Keep aisles free from debris, remove obstructions from production and sales floors. Ensure work areas and facilities remain clean and organized. Inform Team Leader or Manager of possible safety hazards.
Keep work area clean by sweeping, emptying trash cans and disposing of trash in appropriate containers.
Maintain good housekeeping standards.
Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance procedures.
Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to questions and/or concerns in a positive, professional, and friendly manner.
Assist in safeguarding Goodwill team members and property from harm, damage or theft. Comply with the Ethics Policy by immediately reporting any observed or suspected theft, fraud, violence, or any unethical or inappropriate behavior to a supervisor, human resources, or the Ethics Hotline.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 6 months to 1 year minimum experience working successfully in retail customer service oriented environment.
Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day.
Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required
Good verbal communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team to achieve mission goals
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.
