All associates must comply with our environmental, health and safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations.Job DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Effectively plan, lead and direct distribution activities for the location, evaluating the footprint of the facility with a continuous improvement mindset. Monitor delivery routing for efficiency improvement opportunities. Ensure that all outbound loads are loaded accurately and efficiently.Maintain approved staffing levels and play an active role in recruitment, training, and retention efforts. Promote workplace safety by assuring universal precautions and safe work practices are used, assure fire/safety/disaster plans are established and communicated to all department personnel, participate in risk management assessments, maintain security and/or correct unsafe working conditions, and equipment repair, and maintenance needs. Develop rapport with all customers you serve (internal and external).Must be capable of reporting and modifying warehouse performance to meet company goals.Monitor monthly expenses to maintain a cost-efficient facility.QualificationsAssociate or Bachelors's degree or a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a warehouse facility Ability to effectively mentor, coach and develop teammates Excellent proven Excel skills.
