Mr. Andrew Zobler E. is a Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Sydell Group and is based in United States.

As Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer, Gabe Ratner leads and oversees all hotel operations in the US and UK. Before joining Sydell Group, Gabe spent the past decade as Senior Vice President for JRK Hotel Group, a Los Angeles-based hotel company with six properties, where he oversaw the company’s hotel collection of four boutique and two flagged properties. Gabe started with JRK as General Manager of the Oceana Beach Club Hotel in Santa Monica where he repositioned the hotel and implemented food and beverage for the property. A career hotelier, Gabe first got his start in the mid-90s at Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in South Florida, before moving on to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts where he spent his time working his way up through the rooms division at several properties during his 6-year tenure.

Born and raised in real estate and hospitality, Jake got an early taste of the business and never looked back. As Sydell’s Managing Partner & Chief Development Officer, Jake oversees and directs the realization of each project from initial concept to delivery. Involved in all stages of a project starting with due diligence and site selection, Jake and his team bring projects to fruition leading conceptualization, design, development, and construction. At Sydell, Jake has overseen and led the development of more than a dozen award-winning hotels totaling over 3,300 keys and 2.2 million gross square feet, with combined development budgets of more than $1.5 billion.

After working through the ranks of various jobs in hotel and restaurant operations, Jake went to work for Andre Balazs where he served as Assistant General Manager of The Mercer (New York) and Sunset Beach (Shelter Island). During his tenure, he participated in the development and pre-opening of Hotel QT, Standard Highline, and Standard Miami. After four years with Balazs, Jake joined Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group; a full-service capital advisory firm specializing in debt, mezzanine, and preferred equity financing, where he specialized in the financing and capitalization of hotel assets.
