Charles (Chuck) Sykes was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated in August 2004. Prior to his appointment, Chuck served as Chief Operating Officer since July 2003 and President since May 2004. During his 15 years of leadership, he has helped SYKES become a leading, global digital-marketing and customer-care outsourcer.

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Chuck majored in mechanical engineering at North Carolina State University. He joined SYKES in 1986, working his way through the ranks from various administrative roles to junior sales representative in the Telecommunications division to middle-management and eventually General Manager of the Americas. This extensive and diverse career has resulted in a deep, comprehensive knowledge of the company. His experience in operations, accounting, professional services, recruitment, and sales and marketing enable him to manage SYKES’ client relations and the ongoing success of global operations.

Chuck is passionate about his community, serving on the Board of Trustees and Administrative Affairs Sub-Committee at the University of Tampa, and as a board member of Feeding America of Tampa Bay - a local arm of the country’s largest charitable hunger-relief organization. In the past eight years he has served as chair of such organizations as the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce, the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball and the Tampa Bay Partnership. He is an active board member of several national and local organizations such as Junior Achievement of West Central Florida, the American Heart Association and the Straz Center for Performing Arts. Chuck also actively supports the Heroes Luncheon, Gasparilla Music Festival, The Boy Scouts of America, Young Life, Tampa Downtown Partnership and Tampa Bay Wave.

In 2011, the St. Petersburg Times Annual Leadership Survey of the Business Community named Chuck Tampa Bay’s Top Business Leader. He was also honored at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, named the 2016 H. L. Culbreath Jr. Profile award winner, 2017 Citizen of the Year by the Tampa Metro Civitan Club, 2018 Tampa Businessman of the Year and received a Gold Stevie for Lifetime Achievement at the 2018 Stevie’s International Business Awards.

Jim Holder joined SYKES Enterprises, Incorporated in December 2000 as General Counsel and in January 2001 was also named Corporate Secretary. In his role as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Jim is responsible for world-wide corporate legal matters including corporate organization, litigation, regulatory compliance, contracts, conducting the annual shareholder meetings and Board of Director representation.

From November 1993 until November 2000, Jim served in various capacities at Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc., including Corporate Secretary, Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and General Counsel and finally as Special Counsel. Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. was a publicly held operator and franchisor of fast food restaurants. Jim was also previously in the private practice of law with Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick in Tampa, Florida, and as an associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Coopers & Lybrand) in Tampa, Florida.

A native of Florida, Jim received his Bachelors of Arts in Accounting from the University of South Florida in 1980, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia in 1983. Jim received his Certified Public Accounting certification in Florida in 1985. During his career, Jim has been a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar Association, The Georgia Bar Association, The Hillsborough County Bar Association, and The American Association of Certified Public Accountants. Jim is licensed to practice law in the Courts of the State of Florida and Georgia, as well as the United States Tax Court. Jim has served as an adjunct professor of Business Law at the University of South Florida and has taught private CPA review courses throughout the country.

John Chapman is a Chief Finance Officer at SYKES ENTERPRISES INC.

Dave Pearson joined SYKES as Vice President of Engineering in 1997 directing research and product development of leading edge support systems and defining SYKES’ web-based support strategy. In 2000, Dave was named Vice President, Technology Systems Management, managing Global Information Systems and IT Operations for EMEA and APAC regions. In this capacity, Dave oversaw such areas as IT planning and standards, information systems, security, data centers and SYKES Network Operations Center.

In 2004, Dave was named Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. His latest appointment speaks to his 25 years of experience in technical and business management, as well as his vision, leadership and execution within rapidly evolving technology-enabled markets. Prior to his career with SYKES, Dave held engineering and management positions with such companies as Compaq Computer Corp. and Texas Instruments, Inc. Dave holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Lance Zingale brings over 35 years of experience as an innovative technology and business process outsourcing industry executive. His progressive experience encompasses general management, sales, operations and marketing, international and domestic, at AT&T, start-up and mid-sized public companies. He has a strong background and expertise in business turnaround and start-up, large team/diverse functions leadership, market and operations strategy design, development and execution, and new product/services launch. Lance joined SYKES Enterprises, Incorporated in January 2006 as Executive Vice President, Global Sales and Client Management. Lance began his career with AT&T, for whom he worked for nearly 20 years. During his tenure with the telecommunications firm, he rose through the ranks within sales, marketing and operations, including management positions in marketing, operations and customer care. Prior to joining SYKES, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer for a call center management company headquartered in Colorado.In his current role with SYKES, Lance oversees the Company’s North American and EMEA business. SYKES is a global leader in providing customer contact management solutions and services in the business process outsourcing (BPO) arena. SYKES provides an array of sophisticated customer contact management solutions to Fortune 1000 companies around the world, primarily in the communications, financial services, healthcare, technology and transportation and leisure industries. Lance is a current Heart Walk Cabinet Member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Heart Association, as well as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Academy of the Holy Names, a 1000 student independent school located in Tampa, Florida.
