Responsible for limited medication administration tasks and providing residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's Medication Administration Record (MAR), resident's assessment and plan of care and as directed. Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc., as necessary, utilizing facility technique. Essential Job Functions Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct restorative care services, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility. Meet with administration, medical and nursing staff, therapy department, as well as other related departments in planning restorative care. Develop and maintain standardize restorative care standards. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining an ongoing Quality Assurance Program for restorative care services. Develop and implement appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies. Maintain treatment records, current resident files, and progress notes.
