Opportunity Overview:
Onsite I&C Instructor for nuclear facility located in Idaho.
Your Day-to-Day:
Create station and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Develop, schedules, and conducts performance-based maintenance or technical training programs by user community following department procedures, and with proper application of the analysis and development phases.
Prepare trainee examination and conduct trainee evaluations for classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments and conducts counseling sessions for trainees, evaluates the results, and recommends/develops individualized training programs.
Assure the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from INPO Operating Experience Reports and NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices, plant design change and backfit information, plant procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
Participate in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepare responses to audit findings.
Maintain knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, determined by the responsibility to conduct, high-quality training.
Who You Are:
High school diploma
5+years of nuclear technical background OR
7+ years of related industry experience
2+ years in training
INPO certified
AS/AA in science/engineering or equivalent Instrument and controls experience
7+ years of nuclear power plant technical experience in Instrumentation and controls OR
10+years of related industry experience in Instrumentation and controls instruction
5+ years nuclear training experience

Intervene in crisis and document all critical incidents. Review site's required documentation for completion and accuracy, i.e., observation checks, MARs, daily shift notes.
Support PIRs in maintaining the physical plant by monitoring and inspecting their household chores, enter daily census and other demographic, intake, and billing data into Avatar
Responsible for assessment, planning, creating, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of participant's daily living in accordance with the Recovery Model. Assist participants in developing personal recovery-oriented goals.
Works in cooperation with other agencies in the service delivery system to ensure coordinated, continuous and effective services for the rehabilitation of the participants.
Responsible for the development of RSP Goals with participants every 60 days and supporting participants with them daily.
Report to Program Manager when maintenance needs, will assess program participant's strengths, differing skills and abilities, to determine the best approach and learning style that can help increase skill development of each program participant.
Other duties as assigned.

Possess High School Diploma/GED
2 years of experience in the social service field. CPRP, CPS, WRAP trained, a plus.
Must possess a current valid State Driver's License

Pennsylvania Institute for Community Living (PICL) is the first Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) modified therapeutic community residential treatment program in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Working with the Montgomery County Office of Mental Health, PICL developed a 15-bed modified therapeutic community residence for individuals with co-occurring integrated Dual Disorder Treatment diagnoses (IDDT). This program offers 24-hour supervision in a community setting with an emphasis on intensive behavioral health and drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. The program goal is to provide supportive services and work with individuals toward independence.
