Responsible for the Clinical Laboratory enrollment in an approved proficiency testing program for all tests performed. This includes: Proficiency testing samples are tested as required. The test results are returned within specific time limits that the proficiency testing program dictates. All Clinical Laboratory staff will review the proficiency testing reports and evaluate the Clinical Laboratory's performance. Responsible for identifying any problems that require corrective action. Responsible for implementing an approved corrective action plan when any proficiency testing result is found to be unacceptable. Major Duties and Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care and administer medications as prescribed Monitor resident conditions and report concerns to physicians or supervisors Supervise and support CNAs and other care staff, ensuring quality and compliance Participate in care planning and documentation Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Promote a safe and infection-controlled environment Follow policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines in accordance with regulatory standards Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of practice A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Current CPR certification. Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
