    We're seeking a DevOps/Platform Infrastructure Engineer (GCP) to lead and support modernization and migration efforts across critical cloud infrastructure programs. This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, IaC (Terraform), and GCP-native services. You'll work across cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure platforms, contributing to digital transformation efforts for public sector clients. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support scalable, secure workloads. Lead or contribute to cloud migration and legacy modernization initiatives from on-prem to GCP. Develop, maintain, and review Terraform modules and enforce IaC best practices for infrastructure provisioning and management. Collaborate with Architects, Security, and Networking teams to ensure platforms meet compliance, performance, and resiliency requirements. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/logging solutions, and automated guardrails. Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production infrastructure. Support documentation and knowledge sharing around infrastructure architecture, standards, and runbooks. Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 1+ years on GCP. Proven experience with infrastructure migration (on-prem to GCP or multi-cloud to GCP). Proficiency in networking concepts, VPC design, IAM policies, cloud security, and resource provisioning in GCP. Solid hands-on expertise in Terraform and IaC practices. Experience with one or more scripting languages - Python, Bash, or similar languages. Working knowledge of CI/CD, monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Cloud Operations, Prometheus/Grafana, etc.). Preferred/Nice-to-Have Qualifications: GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer, or DevOps Engineer). Knowledge of multi-region HA/DR architecture design Experience aligning infrastructure with compliance frameworks like FedRAMP Background in site reliability engineering (SRE). Assess and incorporate SAP Material Masters and material properties. Develop technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and automation processes. Support equipment breakdown and quality issue resolution, with increasing independence. Conduct troubleshooting and technical analysis on manufacturing equipment and automation systems, including PI data analysis. Perform basic testing using the DeltaV simulator. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills Experience with Syncade and DeltaV (or similar automation systems). Prior experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and process automation systems. Ability to perform DeltaV simulator testing. Familiarity with system administration tasks (e.g., account creation, system maintenance). Understanding of process change controls and CAPA processes. Knowledge of SAP Material Masters and material property integration. Ability to analyse PI data and compare it with process expectations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support production operations. Exposure to supporting quality and equipment breakdown issues in production suites. Growing technical expertise in manufacturing equipment and automation systems. Ability to work with limited guidance on increasingly complex issues.
