What we need We are seeking strategic, hands-on Senior Leaders of Operations to expand our operations leadership team and support regional sites aligned with evolving customer needs. These individuals will oversee the day-to-day performance of highly automated, high-volume warehouse environments, ensuring the seamless operation of advanced material handling systems and the teams that support them. Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence, maximizing system uptime, optimizing throughput, and ensuring adherence to service-level commitments. The ideal candidates are proven multi-site operations leaders with deep expertise in warehouse automation, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a track record of scaling operations in complex, fast-paced environments. While direct P&L ownership is not the primary focus, these roles hold critical leadership responsibility for managing large-scale, mission critical automation systems, multi-million-dollar assets that enable billion-dollar operations across multiple customer sites. Multiple opportunities open across all regions. What You'll Do Lead and develop a team of site General Managers and operational staff across customer-facing warehouse sites. Set and implement strategic operational goals in alignment with corporate and customer objectives. Cultivate a culture of safety, performance, accountability, and innovation. Ensure on-time production and delivery of operational KPIs including reliability, throughput, and uptime. Partner with SIOP teams to align capacity, labor planning, and site performance with forecasts. Scale automated systems and lead site expansion efforts and go-lives. Oversee warehouse automation and robotics system operations to meet long-term goals. Build long-term relationships with customer leadership and act as the operational point of escalation. Conduct business reviews, ensure transparency, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues. Translate customer feedback into operational enhancements and CI initiatives. Mentor site leaders and develop internal pipelines for leadership growth. Optimizing delivery processes, enabling scalability, and ensuring business alignment to support revenue growth. Leads reviews of key KPIs with leadership. Lead and implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational regulations across all sites. Analyze operational data to support continuous improvement and strategic decisions. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering; MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain. Minimum of 7 years of experience with automated systems, material handling, or digital warehouse technologies (preferred). Proven ability to lead large, multi-site teams in high-volume or high-tech warehouse environments. Experience working with or overseeing automated systems, robotics, or high-tech material handling environments. Proven success in leading multiple sites and cross-functional teams. Experience managing large-scale operations budgets and schedules. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain. Our Environment Remote, field-based position. Travel is required 75% of the time. Employee must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms . The employee is routinely required to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must comply with all safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols. Approximately 75% of time will be spent on a construction site with PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness). There will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You may be required to routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure. You will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground. Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily temperature changes.
