Recruit and attract candidates for open positions and manage the recruitment process to create an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers. Responsibilities FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the full lifecycle of recruitment through the execution of assigned tasks and the development of creative recruitment strategies. Communicate with hiring managers and candidates throughout the process, in person, by phone, and via email. Use the Applicant Tracking System and established recruitment processes to initiate and manage job postings and applicant review and selection. Conduct resume and phone screens of applicants, and schedule interviews. Recommend offer amounts, negotiate offers with candidates and prepare/send offer letters. Analyze recruitment results within assigned regions and recommend steps for improvement. Utilize various resources including referrals, internal database, external internet resources and other sourcing channels to recruit candidates who are interested in permanent and per diem (PRN) placement opportunities. Place cold calls to potential recruits: full-time, part-time and per diem (PRN) opportunities. Generate recruiting ads, monitor progress, and maintain ad's visibility. Facilitate the establishment of relationships with colleges/universities and professional organizations. Coordinate student placements for clinical field assignments. Manage relationships with search firms within assigned regions. Any and all duties as assigned. POSITION SUMMARY: As the Fitness and Wellness Specialist, you will work closely with the residents of the community to improve the overall quality of their life. Our group exercise classes, and educational sessions are based on guidelines from the American College of Sports Medicine, the Centers for Disease Control, and the National Institutes of Health. Responsibilities FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide education to residents and staff of client communities on the benefits of Symbria's Well-Being program. Increase program enrollment by actively promoting Symbria's services. Act as program liaison to designated client committees. Any and all duties as assigned. FITNESS-SPECIFIC TASKS: Complete enrollment and medical screening processes for each participant according to Symbria Well-Being Operating Standards. Qualifications EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: To perform successfully in this role, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Minimum personal trainer or group instructor certification required: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Health Fitness Instructor; American Council on Exercise (ACE), or National Association for Fitness Certification (NAFC). CPR and first aid certification. Strong communication, presentation, time management, and organizational skills. Proficient use of technology, including video conferencing; network, laptop, and tablet devices; and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Responsibilities What You'll Do * Develop meaningful goals and deliver creative, individualized treatment plans * Implement clinical and educational SLP programs that support communication, cognition, and swallowing * Maintain documentation and productivity standards * Serve as a trusted partner to the community and make a real difference in the lives of older adults Qualifications What You Bring * Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program * Active state SLP license (or in process) * Flexibility to support weekday and weekend needs * Prior experience in acute, LTC, or rehab settings is great - but not required!
