The SYGMA Director of Finance is a senior executive role responsible for overseeing all Finance and Accounting operations for a SYGMA subsidiary while partnering closely with the SYGMA CFO and leadership team. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Coordinate key financial processes across all financial stakeholders across the business regardless of reporting-lines.
+ Support the SYGMA Team to define and deliver on a strategic agenda, enable the SYGMA Leadership team to focus on strategic elements that are most impactful to delivering Sysco's recipe for growth.
+ Create and present the internal drivers and financial metrics of the business and deep dives into key focus areas of performance
+ Identify and Develop cadence of reporting and insights for the SYGMA business in order to help identify opportunities and execution
+ Lead the management of corporate expense management, working with department leaders to ensure cost control and alignment with strategic priorities.
+ Manage the forecasting tools and process through both Corporate and field views
+ Conduct monthly business reviews; analyze results of operations / explain key drivers of variances to plan and forecasted results
+ Identify through consultation with SYGMA CFO, the key actions necessary to achieve the financialplan across the region
+ Partner with the CFO to develop and deliver annual and periodic goals, including creating the annual profit plan and monthly financial forecasts, along with actionable plans to achieve targets.
+ Manage and coach Market FinanceManagers and other direct reports to achieve business objectives while fostering talent development and career growth.
+ Consult and work directly with the Sysco Business Services team to achieve financial and business goals
+ Evaluate the financial impact of plans and processes to achieve goals, assist other departments in their goals and processes, measure customer profitability, perform key analyses, etc.
+ Conduct diverse financial duties such as assessing the impact of business plans, supporting cross-functional goals, analyzing customer profitability, and managing key daily finance functions.
+ Serve as interim CFO during vacancies
**Education and Experience**
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in financialmanagement, including budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
+ Experience in Foodservice, CPG, or Manufacturing is beneficial
+ Freight network optimization
+ Experience in inbound freight and backhaul are strongly preferred.

About the role
Cheetah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will be a key leader in our finance team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and seamless consolidation processes. This role requires a strong background in SaaS, e-commerce, and payments, with a focus on providing accurate and timely financial insights to support decision‑making. What you'll do
Manage and perform day‑to‑day accounting operations, including all general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and equity‑based compensation functions.
Lead the month‑end close process, including preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
Establish and improve accounting processes and framework for internal controls, design for scalability and growth, including the development of key deliverables (financial analyses, reconciliations, management reporting).
Manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and growth initiatives.
Manage the preparation, review and filing of all tax returns by working closely with external tax consultants.
Position the company to complete its first external financial audit.
Support the CFO with fundraising activities, including financial modeling, due diligence, and investor reporting as needed.
Prepare reporting and analysis for senior management, the Board of Directors and the investment community.
Coordinate with FP&A on the annual budgeting process and provide support for ongoing analysis of financial performance.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred.
Minimum of 15 years relevant work experience with at least 6 years at a Big 4 accounting firm.
Proven experience in a Controller role within a tech or high‑growth industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting processes, technical accounting and financialmanagement.
Prior startup experience, preferably at the seed or early‑stage.
Mastery of GAAP and extensive experience with accounting policies and procedures, with specific background in SaaS, eCommerce and payments business models.
Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems; specific experience with NetSuite required.
Experience managing international subsidiaries and outsourced accounting operations.
