Job Responsibilities:
As an entry level engineer, you will support our engineering teams working towards our designs that are inspiring, demanding and highly collaborative. You will learn from others, and they will expect to learn from you. Some responsibilities include:
Enroll in the firmwide EDT program.
Attend continuing education seminars on technical or professional enhancing topics.
Conduct field inspections to determine existing conditions and coordinating new work and assisting Senior team members in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings.
Coordinate with other disciplines and working in close contact with the entire design team.
Create basic designs under the direction of the senior team members, performing CAD/BIM drafting, equipment selections, systems calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes to begin to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
Begin to be cross trained in multidisciplinary designs and supporting design production of drawings, calculations, research, reports, analysis, and specification.
Have a basic understanding of network connectivity, LAN, WAN fundamentals and other ICT trades fundamentals.
Have a basic understanding of Wi-Fi infrastructure, WAPs, controllers. Learning and mastering drawing organization and company standards.
Support the design and engineering efforts of systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement and system upgrades for a wide variety of projects and project types.
Take ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignments.

Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Technology systems consultant you will support the design efforts on a wide range of projects. You will work closely with senior and supervising consultants performing calculations and laying out highly technical spaces. Individuals in this position must demonstrate the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team. Responsible for providing trade specific system design layout (utilizing CAD/BIM); calculations (utilizing appropriate software); and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering / internal and external) under the guidance of more senior technical staff.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Science or Technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experience
8+ years of audiovisual, telecom, IT, or security design experience in a variety of markets including critical facilities (data centers, call centers, trading floors, etc.), healthcare, aviation, sports and entertainment, corporate interiors, and educational facilities
Proficiency in written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of active network systems and structured cabling design
Has general working knowledge of Wi-Fi network and telephony design concepts, generating heat maps, etc.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit preferred

Primary Responsibilities
* The Low Voltage/Telecom Specialist will be expected to complete a variety of project tasks including but not limited to the following:
* Strong general engineering knowledge of either the telecommunication (Horizontal/Backbone cabling and pathways) or electronic security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection etc.) and operational coordination with commercial hardware.

Claims Oversight & Management
* Primary in-house management of all non-professional liability claims, including GL, Auto, WC, Property, and Management Lines, overseeing reporting, coverage evaluations, reserving, and resolution strategies, with the assistance of a Claims Administrator reporting directly to the Corporate Insurance Manager
* Provide oversight and support on Professional Liability claims managed by in-house counsel in collaboration with outside counsel where applicable (i.e., claims in litigation).
* Evaluate claims trends to recommend loss-control, risk mitigation, and insurance program adjustments.
Enterprise & Project Risk Management
* Serve as a key contributor to the company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, identifying emerging risks and recommending strategies to manage or transfer them.

Some responsibilities include:
* Assist engineers in preparing design documentation

* Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
Our interns will also be part of our intern education program, which consists of informational lunch-and-learn sessions that are attended by firm wide interns. These sessions consist of various topics of our business. Interns are encouraged and expected to attend these sessions as such are crucial to their development.

Additional job requirements:
* Pursing a bachelor's Degree from accredited university in Mechanical engineering, interested in Plumbing.

* Previous engineering internship or co-op experience a huge plus
* Knowledge in the latest version of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus

Stanley Consultants is looking for a Mechanical Engineer in our Denver, CO (Centennial) office.
This position is for a candidate with 5-15 years of experience performing functions which require the application of standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in performing a sequence of related engineering tasks. You will work as a design engineer or discipline lead depending on the size and complexity of the project with mentoring opportunities for building project management skills and capabilities on a variety of projects. You must have experience in the power generation industry, university central plants, industrial facilities, or related fields. Work is expected to include new plant design, existing plant retrofits and upgrades (such as liquid, gas, or steam process systems), industrial/process facilities, and other energy infrastructure projects. The projects will vary in size and location.
The Mechanical Engineer role is responsible for determining the technical approach, validating the design criteria, directing more junior staff, and performing detailed design tasks such as calculations, specifications, and drawing preparation. You will be expected to perform design duties with minimal supervision and have the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment. Ideally, we would like you to have some experience developing process flow diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, mass and energy balances, system hydraulic modeling, pipe stress analysis, and equipment sizing. Background in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer are a plus. Candidates should have some experience in applying mechanical engineering concepts, application and adherence to national codes, and means and methods for power generation or similar industries.What You Will Be Doing:
Serves as a technical liaison with clients on project efforts and coordinates technical efforts within discipline areas. Participate in mechanical design development from conceptual design through detailed design, this includes coordinating with other team or project members including other disciplines (structural, electrical, civil, and I&C)
Support preparation of engineering and cost estimating reports through collection and analysis of data
Prepare and check design computations for system design, equipment and pipe sizing, and determining conditions of service
Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for equipment and material
Lead and mentor our 2D/3D designers and less experienced engineers to develop designs and prepare drawings for project
Work with design and equipment sizing software to prepare engineering and design documents
Perform or assist with occasional field or site visits for observations, data collection, and documentation efforts for clients and/or project needs
Consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction events
Other related duties as assigned by the Department Manager or Project Manager
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited four-year college
5+ years of relevant power generation design experience
Possess PE, or able to obtain PE within 1 year
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing reciprocating engine, simple cycle, combined cycle, and/or combined heat and power plants
Experience using Thermoflow Suite, CAESAR II, and/or Pipe-Flo software
