Mike McMullen is Agilent’s CEO-elect. He will assume the CEO position in March 2015 when William (Bill) Sullivan takes an advisory role until his retirement. As a first step in the CEO transition, McMullen has been named president and chief operating officer. McMullen has more than 30 years of industry experience and senior management experience at Agilent. He has been president of the company’s Chemical Analysis Group (CAG) since 2009, a role he still fills on an acting basis. As head of CAG, McMullen transformed the business, consistently delivering market-leading growth and profits. He championed strategic acquisitions and architected Agilent’s China strategy. He built the Agilent-wide Services business that has now been made one of Agilent’s three major businesses. McMullen has extensive experience working across Agilent’s businesses, and is recognized for his inspirational leadership style. He also has significant international experience, having lived in Japan, leading Agilent’s Japan field sales and support operations, and later adding responsibility for China field operations. McMullen joined Agilent’s predecessor, Hewlett-Packard Co., in 1984 as a financial analyst. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Wharton Business School.

Mr. Norman D. Schwartz is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Bio Rad Laboratories Inc. Mr. Schwartz has been President and Chief Executive Officer since 2003 and Chairman of the Board since 2012. He was Vice President from 1989 to 2002, Group Manager, Life Science, from 1997 to 2002 and Group Manager, Clinical Diagnostics, from 1993 to 1997.

Gary Guthart joined Intuitive Surgical in April 1996. Effective January 2010, Guthart was appointed as Chief Executive Officer. In July 2007, he was promoted to President. Prior to that, in February 2006, Guthart assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Intuitive, Guthart was part of the core team developing foundation technology for computer enhanced-surgery at SRI International (formerly Stanford Research Institute). Guthart is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Affymetrix, Inc. He received a B.S. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from the California Institute of Technology.

Chris Barry serves as the chief executive officer and a member of the NuVasive Board of Directors. Prior to this role, Mr. Barry served as senior vice president and president of surgical innovations, the second largest business unit at Medtronic with $5.5 billion in annual revenue, from 2015 to 2018. In this role, Chris provided strategic direction to more than 14,000 employees working in 78 countries, including 10 manufacturing sites and multiple R&D centers. Prior to the acquisition of Covidien by Medtronic, Mr. Barry was president, Advanced Surgical Technologies of Covidien, where he led global strategy, product portfolio and U.S. commercial teams for the $3.2 billion global business unit. Mr. Barry spent more than 15 years in increasing commercial and executive leadership roles at Covidien. Mr. Barry received a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Texas Tech University.

Intimate understanding of healthcare, software solutions, medical devices, technology trends, reimbursement trends and strategies that lead to success in targeted channel segments globally. Marketing strategy, new product launch, portfolio strategy, M&A, P&L, restructuring, government relations, and general management experience. Consistent creation of strategies and execution against operating plans, sales goals and market objectives, including extensive experience of both high growth and slow growth periods (turnaround plans) of Varian Medical Systems journey from $500M to over $3B. Including returning Varian to double digit growth following becoming President of the $3B+ P&L of Oncology systems. Strong leadership skills with a track record of creating an inspiring vision and communicating effectively both internally/externally through developing cultural, servant leadership and focusing on people/teams to drive net promoter scores to all-time highs and enable sustainable long-term success.

With over 30 years of leadership experience in the technology and healthcare technology sectors, Joe has a wealth of knowledge to use in his role as President and Chief Executive Officer at Clario. Previously Chief Executive Officer at Conifer Health Solutions, he has also held executive management positions at Oracle Corporation, Rackspace, Hewlett-Packard and Electronic Data Systems. Joe also currently serves on the board of Discover Financial Services (NYSE: DFS).

Alexander Hardy is the CEO of Genentech. Hardy, who joined Genentech in 2005, has served as CEO since March 1, 2019. He previously served as head of global product Strategy for Roche Pharmaceuticals. Previously, he headed up Asia Pacific for Roche's pharma outfit.

Bill Linder was appointed the HealthTronics CEO in 2020. Prior to joining the company, he was part of Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA), where he held several senior operational and business development leadership roles. Prior to SCA, Bill held sales leadership roles at both Harden Healthcare and Apria Healthcare. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Monmouth University and his MBA from DePaul University.
