Job Title: Manager- Project Controls Type: Direct Hire Work Model: Onsite System One is seeking a Manager of Project Controls for a direct-hire role. The candidate will report to Director of PMCoE and oversee the people, processes, and tools used for controlling our client's projects. This includes earned value management, planning, scheduling, cost estimating, change management, and budgeting. The manager leads a team of project controls professionals, implements best practices, and supports decision-making through data-driven insights. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project controls professionals (project control specialists) who are assigned to projects. Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth within the team. Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies.
+ Establish and maintain tools and standards for the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules and cost baselines. Implement a graded controls approach based on project size and complexity. Provide oversight to project teams to ensure quality and consistency of earned value management baselines, forecasts, and change control. Oversee establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) for project health (e.g., SPI, CPI etc).
+ Coordinate with other corporate stakeholders (e.g., Procurement, Finance, Accounting) on requirements for and information needs from projects. Lead the design and development of progress reports for senior management and other stakeholders. Utilize dashboards and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) for real-time insights. Facilitate effective communication and alignment across departments and project teams to ensure effective implementation of project controls functions.
+ Continuously improve project controls methodologies, processes, standards, and tools to enhance effectiveness and efficiency, leveraging lessons learned, benchmarking, and best practices. Perform period organizational assessments. Drive digital transformation initiatives (e.g., automation, AI, advanced analytics) in collaboration with PMCoE.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:
+ Education: B.S. degree in engineering, or B.A degree in business preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of eight years of project controls experience, with at least five years in leadership, managing project controls teams (people management) and complex projects. High level knowledge of scheduling (P6), budgeting, ERP and other project controls tools (e.g., PRISM G2) required. Additional required and preferred experience includes:
+ Demonstrated application of Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge principles and processes (required).
+ Demonstrated application of integrated cost and schedule control, or ANSI EIA-748-C Earned Value Management System practices (required).
+ Experience in the nuclear industry, energy industry, power plant architect/engineering (A/E), power plant engineering procurement construction (EPC), or US Department of Energy nuclear projects. (preferred)

Job Title: Financial Accounting Manager Employment Type: Direct Hire, Exempt Work Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday Some flexibility: Could work 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Possible Hybrid once trained: 3 days in office / 2 days remote System One is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to provide leadership and hands-on support in managing consolidations and financial accounting for the Enterprise. The primary focus of this role is to deliver quality and timely accounting services across all affiliated companies. This is a process-focused, individual contributor role-no direct team management. The ideal candidate is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and actively contributing to accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform multi-entity consolidations, including eliminations.
+ Prepare full financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Statement of Cash Flows).
+ Draft, post, and reconcile journal entries; manage accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and trial balances.
+ Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (internal and external).
+ Contribute to footnote preparation for SEC reporting.
+ Perform account and bank reconciliations; conduct financial analysis.
+ Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA a plus).
+ 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience in a for-profit environment.
+ Hands-on consolidation experience across multiple entities.
+ Proven ability to prepare complete financial statements.
+ Experience posting journal entries (not review-only).
+ Knowledge of SEC reporting and footnote preparation.
+ Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) and proficiency in Word.
+ Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently.
