We are looking for: As a Refining and Petrochemical Process Optimization Engineer, or what we call an Implementation Engineer (IE), you will analyze process data, evaluate and shape AI‑driven optimization models, and collaborate closely with plant personnel to solve complex operational challenges. You'll become a trusted technical partner who helps clients understand, adopt, and benefit from Imubit's technology. As your experience deepens and based on interest and performance, you may choose to evolve toward the Solution Manager (SM) path, owning strategic customer alignment, value delivery, and cross‑functional execution. In this position, you will: Apply your Chemical Engineering knowledge to Imubit's machine learning technology to continuously optimize live manufacturing processes. Engage directly with plant engineers, operations, and controls teams to understand site‑specific constraints, opportunities and economic drivers. Leverage a deep understanding of the customer's process to position yourself as a credible, trusted advisor to plant operators, engineers and management. Demonstrate and explain Imubit's technology to clients and train them to utilize it. Support commissioning activities and present model results, insights, and economic value. Translate customer feedback into actionable inputs for Product and R&D. Background in chemical engineering or process engineering. Ability to travel to client sites 15%-30% Preferred Qualifications: Client-facing experience. Process engineer with process control and/or planning and economics experience. Has a proven record of improving plant optimization, implementing plant optimization solutions with little to no capital expenditure. Has worked extensively with plant operations personnel. Has successfully led projects and implementations, managing project relationships from a technical standpoint. Has experience working with time-series data within recent work experience and knows how to visualize and analyze large volumes of data and make logical decisions. Ability to educate customers and build confidence in customers about highly technical concepts. Proven ability to work and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Great to have: Has proven to take on new technologies and apply them at the plant level to extract operational value (revenue, reliability, etc.).
