Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator to join the team at one of New Jersey's prominent insurance companies. This individual would be responsible for administering and supporting Enterprise packaged solutions. From initial planning through delivery and post production support, play a key role in activities including; validation and alignment of business requirements from a technical perspective, solution installation, solution maintenance as well as operational support. • Support installation and maintenance of the Enterprise packaged solutions. Perform configuration management, release management, user provisioning and change management activities as required by the Enterprise packaged solutions. [35%]
• Identifies reoccurring technical issues and develop tactical and strategic plans to resolve the problems and prevent them from recurring. Provide guidance regarding troubleshooting issues with end users, technical staff and/or the vendor to arrive at prompt solutions for critical problems. [25%]
• Collaborate with other areas in IT to effectively support the Enterprise packaged solutions. (Database, Network, Storage, Security, Server) Work with project technical leads to resolve complex technical issues as well as understand the affects the introduction of new system functionality will have on the solution and take appropriate action to ensure service level agreements are met.[10%]
• Understand and work from software requirements. Translate requirements into technical designs that leverage Enterprise packaged software functionality (e.g. out-of-the-box capabilities) to address business functional needs. Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and other SaaS platforms.
Monitor and respond to system alerts using WhatsUp Gold, VeeamONE, and related tools.
Implement and enforce security policies, assist with audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Provide Tier 2 support for escalated Help Desk issues and assist in project deployments.
Document network configurations, changes, and support procedures.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Create detailed monthly KPI reports that analyze backup, storage, and compute usage trends.
Qualifications/Skills:
Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), VMware, Veeam, and Cisco networking.
Experience with Pure Storage and Workspace ONE a plus.
Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts.
Proven network engineering, operations, and performance analysis skills.
Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
Knowledge of computing infrastructures and server management tools.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users with complex technical issues.

Salary: The base pay range for this role is between $152,859.00 and $175,000.00 annually, and your base pay will depend on your qualifications, experience and location.
