The Field Support Engineer provides support for the installation, operation and maintenance of Intellian fielded products globally as required in a 24/7 operational environment. The primary focus for this role is the installation and maintenance of Intellian Ground Gateway Terminals. Deep experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cluster operations. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, especially Terraform (or similar). Familiarity or experience with GitOps / declarative deployment tools (e.g. Argo CD, Flux, etc.). Experience designing or operating multi-tenant, shared platform environments. Strong understanding of networking, cluster networking, ingress, load balancing, proxies, service mesh, etc. Knowledge of security (identity, access control, secrets management, network segmentation) as part of infrastructure. Experience building or maintaining platform abstractions / self-service layers / APIs for infra consumption. Proficiency with observability tooling (metrics, tracing, logging), incident management, alerting. Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid or multi-cloud deployments. Strong automation ethos: scripting, tooling, CI/CD, operations automation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: ability to run customer meetings, present architectural rationale, negotiate tradeoffs. The base salary range for this role in the United States is $183,000-$212,000. In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation.
