Responsibilities The Production IV position works as part of a production unit within Mayo's Division of Media Support Services. This position provides ongoing monitoring of processes and technologies and recommend improvements in support of this goal; providing technical solutions that allow for the efficient and quality production/processing of published materials. Qualifications An Associate's degree in graphic/web design, IT, graphic communications, or publishing related field and five years experience in a production/media related field is required. Incumbent must demonstrate excellent technical production skills and efficiency (prepress, web, forms design, output, binding/finishing), as appropriate and a thorough knowledge of the equipment and publishing software within their designated area. Assists in operating all systems to ensure compliance with USEPA, MPCA, USDA and the city of Rochester regulations. Assists in adjusting refuse feed rates for optimal combustion efficiency, operating and monitoring the control panel to ensure the waste combustor, wet scrubber, WESP, wastewater treatment system, Urea, and caustic systems are functioning within their designed specifications and set-points.
