Vantor is currently seeking a Direct Access Support Engineer for our Mission Operations Center in Longmont, CO.
Responsibilities:
Support Operations through the arbitration and execution of requests from our International Defense and customers.
Preserve the spacecraft and ground systems; ensure existing and potential satellite tasking requirements are met; deliver imagery and ancillary data to Vantor internal and external customers.
Support numerous internal departments, including Remote Systems, Direct Access Remote Sensing, Project Management, and the direct access account management and sales teams.
Monitor satellite access windows to guarantee successful execution and ensure delivery of imagery and products within prescribed deadlines.
Frontline incident management for direct access customers outside of standard business hours
Troubleshoot Tier 1 and 2 issues in high-pressure situations
Utilize and maintain monitoring tools by performing ongoing assessments of the efficiency/performance of these tools,
Work alongside operations, sales, and customer teams on requirements and operational implementation,
Provide input and guarantee accuracy of operation,s efficienc,y and transition documentation and procedures,
Effectively communicate with team members, cross-departmental staff, and customers regarding status, milestones, issues, and resolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a current/active Secret security clearance
Ability to accommodate 24/7 rotational shift work
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a relevant field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Background in Windows & Unix/Linux environments

SpaceNav is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to join our team. This full-time position will be based on-site at the NOAA Satellite Operations Facility located in Boulder, CO. and will support NOAA's Office of Space Commerce (OSC) in developing the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS).
As a TraCSS Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and managing TraCSS system requirements, anticipating future needs for the TraCSS system, and assessing SSA software vendors. A strong foundation in mathematics and engineering is required, along with a deep understanding of the mathematical principles underpinning key astrodynamics and SSA concepts - such as orbit determination, covariance realism, maneuver planning, and conjunction assessment.
Responsibilities
Manage the set of TraCSS system and software requirements
Develop operational user scenarios and test cases that will be used in product validation and operational acceptance testing.
Work with the Office of Space Commerce staff to evaluate, test, and onboard third-party SSA data products and services.
Coordinate with DoD personnel, satellite operators, and other mission stakeholders in support of the SSA mission.
Participate in technical discussions between government agencies and industry.
Qualifications
US citizenship required.
Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
2+ years of relevant work experience in satellite operations.
Familiarity with cloud computing technologies.
