Essential Functions Assists with the Simulation Lab day-to-day operations, reporting to the Simulation Director. Manages equipment and computer software to include but not limited to providing technical assistance for faculty, staff and students in the Simulation and Standardized Patient Labs. Installs, operates and maintains all simulators, computers, software and audiovisual equipment used by the USA Simulation Program to include general PC support and specialized simulation systems. Collaborates with vendors to schedule and perform simulator maintenance/repairs to ensure minimal downtime. Tracks and maintains simulator, task trainer and software warranty contracts with vendors. Provides recommendations for budget and purchase of technology-related equipment, supplies and materials for the USA Simulation Program. Attends meetings and training sessions to remain current with advances in simulation technology and use. Educates simulation faculty and staff on operation of existing, new or updated simulation equipment/software. Manages simulation/standardized patient equipment in all simulation labs to include main campus, Baldwin County campus, Children's and Women's Hospital and University Hospital. Collaborates with campus Computer Services to ensure all information architecture is in place and functional to support simulation operations. Provides software support for the creation and execution of simulation events. Travels to various campuses to install, operate, maintain and repair simulators, computers, software and equipment used by the USA Simulation Program. Communicates with faculty and fellow simulation assistants to ensure proper set up of skills and simulation events. Helps facilitate simulation events in all labs to include main campus, Baldwin County campus, USA Children's and Women's Hospital and University Hospital Simulation labs. Moves and sets up trainers, equipment, and supplies for simulation and skills events in all labs to include main campus, Baldwin County campus, USA Children's and Women's Hospital and University Hospital Simulation labs. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required. Related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and three years of progressively responsible information technology or related experience. This position requires 6+ months of training on a Domestic Assignment to **Pax River, MD and Rancho Bernardo, CA.** After training is completed, it is expected that the candidate will be available to deploy to **Japan, Italy, United Arab Emirates, or Guam** for a minimum of **24 months** , based on current business needs. The international location will be selected by Northrop Grumman after training is completed and will be based on timing and available location(s), determined by business needs. Deployment benefits will be communicated once a location is selected. If no immediate international or Guam deployment location is available, the candidate may be relocated to work at one of our core U.S. locations for the immediate future. The FSR will be embedded with a US Navy unit and be the system subject matter expert, providing training on the system hardware and software, as well as supporting the sailors in the unit with system operations, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The FSR will have reach-back/liaison support from Northrop Grumman Responsible Engineering/Development/Test Engineering teams. **Principal Test Conductor responsibilities include:** + Interfacing with NGC and customer Flight Engineers, aircraft maintenance Technicians, US Navy service members, and Subsystem SMEs in order to sustain operations. + Primary interface between maintenance, design and flight test engineering. + Vehicle and Payload Test Controller (VTC/PTC) operations during aircraft start-up/shut down for launch and recovery, conduct static ground tests, and troubleshooting. **Essential Functions:** + Responsible for providing inputs to update Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMS). + Reviews/provides inputs during engineering development and executes Detailed Test Requirements, Acceptance Test Procedures, and Ground Test Plans. + Installs, operates, troubleshoot, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment, in accordance with IETMS and/or other engineering directives (TDs/ECRs/TEIs/AMRs/MAFs). + Perform a variety of Organizational / Depot-level maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. + Develop general knowledge of all aircraft systems, VTC/PTC, Engineering Design and software. Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of air vehicle systems at the customer location including operations on a flightline, or in a hangar. + Ability to interpret and trace electrical and Air Vehicle schematics. The incumbent will: Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information Provide support to internal end-users of different systems Work with management to prioritize business and information needs Identify project requirements by interviewing business stakeholders, analyzing operations, determine project scope and documenting results Create and maintain databases and management reports; analyze and interpret data to identify anomalies, trends and opportunities for improvements Works under limited to moderate supervision to analyze and solve mildly complex operational and systems-related issues May manage small projects requiring some coordination and/or contribution to task forces or project teams Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes Design, document, build, test and deploy enhancements to nCino custom objects, page layouts, workflows, alerts, reports and complex dashboards Maintain and utilize the test environment Maintain user roles and profiles, security settings, access settings etc. (User Profiles, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules and Security) Research changes in upcoming versions of nCino and other integrated applications Provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity Develop and maintain report folders, dashboards, etc. to improve system usability Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross functional impacts regarding configuration, process, workflow and reporting Lead user requirement sessions and document user requirements to address changing business needs Take lead responsibility for the implementation of any statement of work for new functionality Troubleshoot system issues by opening tickets and monitoring for resolution Perform routine review of code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long term viability, integrity, and adoption Understand existing system reports, the functionality of each and how they support management initiatives Create ad hoc reports as requested by management, sales and operations staff Keeps management apprised of project status and creates a system to allow for the continuous flow of information among all business stakeholders Change Management Responsible for understanding and keeping abreast of regulatory changes that impact applicable systems and loan origination practices Maintain records of all changes made to applicable systems including date change implemented and required approval for change Maintain library of all business rules / credit policies Maintain document libraries.
