Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: * This position requires either seven years of directly related full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and three years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions. * Professional full-time experience with enterprise systems and applications and current versions of Windows Server and Linux or other enterprise services. * Experience with large enterprise computing environments that include multiple site locations. * Experience with Identity Management, Disaster Recovery procedures and domain administration. Preferred Qualifications: * Five years professional, full-time experience with application system support and implementation in a medium to large computing environment. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: * Knowledge of basic networking concepts (e.g. Systems, Protocols, Directory Services). * Knowledge and proficiency with relevant business systems, operating systems, and servers. * Knowledge of and ability to administer local and cloud based applications (SaaS) such as Azure/AWS and/or Office 365. * Skill in shell scripting/automation, project management of small initiatives, and troubleshooting. * Skill in managing servers and storage hardware. * Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present effectively to small and large groups. * Ability to take initiative to plan, organize, coordinate and perform work in various situations when numerous and competing demands are involved. * Ability to collaborate and work effectively within the community and willingness to contribute to a team effort. * Ability to work independently and follow through on project assignments. * Ability to provide professional customer service and act as a customer advocate Pay Grade 18 FGCU is a State University System of Florida member and an Equal Opportunity and Equal Access employer.
