Works with and leads multi-disciplinary teams to help our customers design, test, implement, and oversee solutions for transportation revenue collection. The position will focus on design, procurement, development, testing, launch, operations, and oversight of road usage charging (RUC) and tolling pilots and programs, as well as emerging solutions such as integrated RUC and tolling systems, integrated in-vehicle and infrastructure-based technologies for revenue collection, and innovative business models for solution delivery. RUC systems include design, testing, training, and operations oversight for odometer data collection, automated vehicle-based data collection, back-office accounting and vehicle registry transaction systems, and customer support operations. Tolling systems include commercial back-office and customer back-end transaction processing for high-volume, interoperable toll collection systems. Examples of specific work tasks include:

Department Summary
Early Childhood CARES provides Early Intervention (EI) and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) services to infants, toddlers, and preschool children in Lane County. Each year it serves over 1700 children who have developmental delays or disabilities. Established in 1992 as an outreach unit in the College of Education, it is funded by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and is one of nine programs in Oregon delivering EI/ECSE services across the state.
All counties in Oregon have EI/ECSE programs that use software developed at Early Childhood CARES. Our primary application group, ec Web, is complex and includes robust case management, outcomes reporting, assessment tracking, forms processing including electronic signatures, immunization analysis, Medicaid billing record management, metrics, and reporting tools. There are over 2,600 users that work in ec Web to manage records for over 13,000 children actively receiving services, in addition to children who are in the referral and evaluation processes. The Parent Portal, an integrated software system that facilitates electronic form signing and document delivery, serves approximately 13,000 parents across the state.
Position Summary
The Web Applications Programmer position is responsible for the design, development, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and support of application programming for ec Web and the Parent Portal. The person in the position will interpret requirements, contribute to technical discussions, implement solutions, and communicate results to users and coworkers. They must diagnose assigned issues and address them through software fixes, updates, and addition of new functions and features. The Web Applications Programmer works closely with three other programmers with wide development responsibility and must be able to constructively collaborate with team members, contribute to the overall product design and development practices, mentor colleagues and be mentored.
EI/ECSE in Oregon is a dynamic and complex environment, so we use Agile-like programming methods for application development, which emphasize a close relationship with content experts and users, rapid adaptation, and constant attention to design and innovation. This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time Analyst Programmer, competency level 3, position for the School of Chemical, Biological, and Environmental Engineering at Oregon State University ( OSU ).
This position supports research on scientific programs involving technology development for people with type 1 diabetes, with potential projects including (but not limited to):
+ developing new software programs that run on smart phones and desktop computers.
+ developing new software programs that run on cloud servers (e.g. Amazon Web Services)
The position requires skills for the development of software on phones and on cloud-based servers.

What you'll be doing
Travel up to 60% to help set up and support new and existing remote Carvana Locations to include (desktop, server, network, security surveillance, and AV).
Communicate with internal and external users and vendors on project timeline and completions.
Deal with anything that is powered (wired or wireless)
When not on the road, take incoming calls, emails, and walk-ups related to all IT issues and requests from both PC and Mac users.
Set up IT accessories (monitors, docking stations, phones, etc.) for all new hires and help current users with occasional desk moves.
Document solutions to new problems and share them with the rest of the team.
Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
Configuring and maintaining networked computer systems including hardware, system software, and applications to ensure availability, reliability and security.
Maintain physical security for all infrastructure and endpoint devices and ensure to follow Carvana security best practices.
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology platforms.
Participate in hardware refresh project assigned to Carvana locations

Reporting to the Manager of Systems Automation Services, the Server Systems Engineer will serve in a team environment focused on the design, deployment, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of UO Cloud server computing.
