The Systems Analyst 2 will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable programs for HHS. This includes comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system. The Systems Analyst II will be responsible for designing and implementing workflows that integrate with the existing system, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal functionality of the new system. The Worker will document all phases of the migration process, engage with clinical and IT stakeholders for requirements gathering, and ensure clear communication throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. (40%).
+ Ensures that design complies with HHSC standards. This task also involves setting up validation and auditing processes to maintain data integrity post-migration. (10%)
+ Perform necessary testing of the migration process, including creating and executing Unit test scripts, managing test scenarios, analyzing test results, and debugging issues. Utilize established software development and testing standards to ensure the reliability and functionality of the new SaaS solution. (25%)
+ Provide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders including immediate managers, technical leads, developers, and business analysts. Use ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution. Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to both internal and external audiences to explain the migration process, system functionality, and technical challenges (15%)
+ Facilitate the smooth transition to the new system by providing strategic oversight and support post-migration. Currently we have a Lean Systems Engineer role open on 1st shift. The Lean Systems Engineer will advance the Link-Belt Production system by developing, deploying, and managing lean systems and concepts to support the LBC strategic initiatives for process improvement across all areas of the company with a focus on education sustaining and reporting, an improved problem-solving methods.
Essential functions of the position include:
* Develop and deploy Lean/Continuous Improvement training
* Coach lean leadership concepts
* Participate in lean development of LBC suppliers, customers, and partners.
* Facilitate process improvements through Kaizen events and projects
* Apply lean concepts to product development processes
* Facilitate proper use of visual management companywide
* Develop training for lean leadership
* Coach and mentor lean leaders
