Essential Functions Investigate FAA NextGen future research goals and activities and identify ways that FAA research laboratories can support those initiatives. Knowledge of advanced Air Traffic Management (ATM) concepts (e.g. TBO, SWIM, DataComm, FF-ICE, UAS/AAM, xTM, etc.) and NAS systems (e.g. ERAM, STARS, TBFM, TFMS). Experience with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML), Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Digital Twin, Unmanned Aerial Systems / Advanced Air Mobility (UAS / AAM) integration into the NAS, Air Traffic Management (ATM).
