As a Sr. Mobility Terminal System Engineer, you will be responsible for mobile terminal architecture, integration, and validation with hardware, software, and firmware. You will work in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities include:
Develop mobile terminal architecture by working closely with sub-system engineers in electrical, RF, antenna, thermal, modem, DSP, ASIC, algorithm, firmware, modeling, and software
Design tradeoffs of various terminal architectures, including RF and performance simulations to support tradeoff decisions
Develop the mobility lab so aviation, maritime, and automotive terminals can be validated both in lab environments and with LEO satellites
Proactively engage with internal and external development partners on systems' hardware and software architectures and implementation
Ensure delivered work meets technical, functional, performance, regulatory, and business requirements
Perform in-field and on-orbit validation with satellites
Traveling up to 10% of the time, depending on project phases

A day in the life
As a Sr. Mobility Terminal System Engineer on the Leo Customer Terminal (CT) team, you will work daily with electrical, hardware, RF, antenna, silicon, and product design engineers, as well as software and operations teams in a collaborative environment. Your focus will be on architecting, integrating, and validating the mobility terminal's system-level performance so it can be successfully productized for aviation, maritime, and automotive customers.
About the team
The Leo Customer Terminal team is responsible for developing both outdoor & indoor devices, enabling customers internet service via the Leo satellite network. We own the entire process from early prototypes through mass production including requirements documents, architecture definition, hardware development, and all integration/verification testing.
Basic Qualifications
Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, or other relevant engineering discipline
5+ years of satellite terminal development, integration, and validation experience
3+ years of hardware design and validation of components and subsystems experience
Strong understanding of communication systems, RF, and phased array antenna
Experience in MATLAB, Python or C++
Familiarity with test instruments such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, channel emulators, network emulators, and GNSS emulators
Experience in developing complex telecommunication, antenna, and/or satellite communication systems
Experience in developing mobility terminals

Master's or PhD degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline

Requirements

• Provide technical direction and oversight of supplier projects, working with the contract administrator to ensure delivery of data and other deliverables to meet TerraPower requirements, as well as coordination and performance of technical reviews of deliverables.

Key Qualifications and Skills

The work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
The Physical Side of the Role: This is an active, hands-on role. You can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. The work is physically demanding and requires a full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching. You'll need to be comfortable frequently lifting and carrying materials up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, as well as visual acuity for reading plans and inspecting work. The role does include desk time in the office that may require prolonged periods of sitting for tasks like computer work, document review, and meetings.
Your Work Environment: You'll spend a significant amount of your time on active construction sites, which means being adaptable to all kinds of weather and moderate to loud noise levels, and comfortable in elevated or confined work areas with moving mechanical equipment and with the fast-paced nature of a project in progress. You will also spend time in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels. Your safety is our top priority, and you'll be expected to follow Clark Construction's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations.

As the Senior Legal Solutions & Technology Analyst, you will manage legal-focused projects, applications, and processes. You will interact with key legal and business partners and collaborate with other LST team members to identify business opportunities and then design, implement, and support solutions to improve the day-to-day productivity of the legal and business teams. Your Responsibilities Include:
Legal Technology & Project Management
● Gather, validate, prioritize, and interpret requirements to produce technical designs.
● Configure, implement, and maintain technical and functional solutions, including documentation.
● Create and manage project schedules to meet deliverables, identify risks, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
● Develop test cases/scenarios and manage system and user acceptance tests.

● Serve as an administrator and power user for relevant platforms.

End-User Enablement
● Support end users and troubleshoot issues as part of a COE team.

● Create and maintain SOPs for supported functions.
End-User Training & Change Management
● Create and update user guides and training materials.

Qualifications & Achievements:
● You have 5+ years prior relevant experience
● You're experienced implementing technical solutions in no-code environments
● You've participated in global projects such as CLMS in a legal department
● You have experience identifying, documenting, and prioritizing requirements

● Experience training end-users
● Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$75,900 - $105,600 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$83,100 - $127,500 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$79,500 - $103,100 USD
