The Real Time Operations Infrastructure Specialist Principal (Project Manager) establishes an advanced understanding of Transmission Operation Systems infrastructure and processes. This role involves various assignments related to planning, building, and maintaining IT/OT Infrastructure systems (hardware and software) for 24/7/365 critical real-time operations facilities. Responsibilities include managing, tracking, and representing RT Ops Infrastructure on various projects, producing technical documentation for support and configuration, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies, monitoring system performance, and resolving issues.
This lead role plans and deploys technical platforms while serving as a subject matter expert, supporting users of OT Infrastructure systems, and promoting a team culture of consistency, transparency, adaptability, and accountability.
**Job Description**
**What You'll Do:**
+ Lead infrastructure projects, initiatives and directing infrastructure assignments.
+ Liaison with AEP personnel, operating companies, consultants, and vendors to discuss projects, determine needs, communicate, and improve working relationships.
+ Determine and maintain technology scoping, workflows, material tracking, status reporting, and budgeting for the infrastructure group.
+ Maintain multiple moderate-advanced complexity infrastructure assignments while promoting adherence to infrastructure policies and goals.
+ Lead assignments and risk assessment related to maintenance outages, troubleshooting, and restoration.
+ Approve change management activities.
+ Review network change requests. Coordinate scheduled network changes. Assign work to lower-level specialists.
+ Ensure adequate, redundant, and balanced virtual computing resources.
+ Standardize, coordinate and provide technology support among all control centers.
+ Consider alternative courses of action and select the best options according to the intended infrastructure posture.
+ Guide team members in understanding the impact of infrastructure and business decisions on the enterprise.
**Minimum Requirements:**
**Education:**
+ Minimum of an Associate's degree in an applicable area OR equivalent education and experience of a high school diploma/GED and two (2) years of relevant experience in an applicable area or certification in an applicable area.
+ Applicable areas defined as: IT/OT System Administration, IT/OT Application Support, Cyber Security, ADMS/DMS/EMS/OMS/SCADA. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred / advanced degree is an added plus.
**Experience:**
+ In addition to any experience included in education requirements above, must have eight (8) years or applicable experience with five (5) years domain experience in a related role.
+ Licenses/Certifications: CompTIA A+ or other Computer Science certification strongly preferred.
**Other Must Haves:**
+ PMP Certification or significant documented experience in complex project management.
+ Proven leadership and communication skills
+ Demonstrated experience managing complex efforts.
+ Demonstrated substantial understanding of real time operations systems infrastructure.
+ Over-time, on-call assignments, flexible hour assignments, and occasional travel may be required.

The Systems Administrator is responsible for specifying, designing, installing, and maintaining servers and integrated information systems across local and wide-area networks. The Network Engineer III, under general direction, performs complex and non-routine specialized network engineering functions, such as troubleshooting, analysis, research, and problem-solving. RESPONSIBILTIES
ADMINISTER CAMPUS ENTERPRISE NETWORK - 50%
Administer and maintain LAN, WAN, and Data Center equipment to ensure maximum availability.
Administer and maintain next generation firewalls and VPN appliances.

DESCRIPTION
The Network Engineer III, under general direction, performs complex and non-routine specialized network engineering functions, such as troubleshooting, analysis, research, and problem-solving. Reporting to the Manager of Network Services, the Network Engineer III routinely serves as technical lead for network engineering projects and services. This position provides technical oversight for the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the network infrastructure and enterprise network solutions. RESPONSIBILTIES
ADMINISTER CAMPUS ENTERPRISE NETWORK - 50%
Administer and maintain LAN, WAN, and Data Center equipment to ensure maximum availability.
Administer and maintain next generation firewalls and VPN appliances.
Advance monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting skillsets.
Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of network security in collaboration with the Office of Information Security.

**What role you will play in our team**
The Process Analyzer Engineer is responsible for the design, optimization, and implementation of a wide variety of on-line process analyzers to be installed at petrochemical and refining sites. This individual would also provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing site maintenance and business teams. This involves time in the field ensuring that the installed analyzers are contributing to safe, environmentally sound, reliable, and profitable operations and time in the office attending planning and business team meetings.
**What you will do**
+ On-line analysis of petrochemical and refining streams and their final products
+ Provides day to day support to Process and Maintenance on analyzer equipment regarding malfunctions and deficiencies and recommends actions to enhance equipment reliability
+ Development and execution of analyzer projects and strategies in support of capital projects that impact global energy supplies using safe and cost-effective methodologies
+ Support to maintenance and operations for existing analyzer fleet
+ Deployment of new process analyzer and sensor technologies, as applicable
+ Upholding corporation standards on analyzers and their safe use
**About you**
**Skills and Qualifications**
+ A minimum of 8 years of experience as a process analyzer engineer is required for this position or a combination of the following education and work experiences:
+ A Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with more than 4 years of process analyzer experience,
+ M.S. in Chemistry with a minimum of 6 years of process analyzer experience
+ Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability to use and troubleshoot at least one of the following analytical chemistry/instrumental analysis techniques:
+ Gas Chromatography
+ Molecular spectroscopy (IR, UV/Vis, Raman, etc.)
+ Mass Spectrometry
+ Electrochemistry
+ Knowledge of sample conditioning system design and troubleshooting, CEMS EPA requirements (e.g. 40CFR Part 75) and troubleshooting, gas detection systems, and analyzer shelter safety design.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
+ Candidates with strong, demonstrated mechanical aptitude are given priority
