Develop and maintain finite element models for cells, battery modules, and HV components. Specify components such as fuses, contactors, relays, busbars, and HV/LV connectors. Solid multi-disciplinary engineering skills in electrical, mechanical, software and thermal domains and a very firm grasp of the physics of each, ideally in the aerospace, automotive or similar domains. Understanding of high voltage electronics, battery systems and controls and energy systems. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar systems engineering tools.
