A System Specialist will provide world class leadership for high-profile orders and high-end service support with installations, startups, commissioning and testing, scheduled and emergency services on Precision Cooling Products. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. What You Will Do Provide logistic support to U. S. Government customer, at the INTEGRATED FIRES MISSION COMMAND Office located on site at the IFMC Field Office in El Paso, Texas. Represent RTX as liaison between Raytheon and U.S. Government at the IFMC El Paso Field Office. Prepare parts, kits and documents to move shipments CONUS and OCONUS in support of the warfighter, Patriot Battalion Fieldings, and Modification teams maintaining Patriot equipment. Assist in shipping and receiving of assets in warehouse and maintaining warehouse stock to support all aspects of Patriot program. This includes inventories of items in warehouse and ordering replacement parts for warehouse stock. Maintain databases to track and report all shipments from the IFMC Field Office. This includes providing cost data on shipments of parts, Modification Kits and Major End Items. Provide technical and engineering support to IFMC, Depots and Patriot battalions worldwide. Research and find solutions to various technical and logistical problems found within the Patriot Air Defense System using prints, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Manuals (TMs), and other resources. This includes providing replacement parts and technical assistance for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) as well as U.S. owned systems. Investigate alternative sources of supply for parts and materials not in normal supply system used in PATRIOT program. Verify, as needed, parts and process instructions using prints, ECPs, TMs and Modification Work Orders (MWOs). Work with other contractors in the IFMC Field Office to support special projects as assigned by the U. S. Government customer. Travel as needed to represent the Field Office in support of the program. This job is located at the IFMC Field Office in El Paso, Texas and is posted as ONSITE. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's Degree related to the required skills from an accredited university, or associate degree related to the required skills from an accredited university with 5 years' experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 8 years of related experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Experience with the Patriot Missile System or similar large scale air defense weapons system. Understand how to access and read Army Technical Manuals and regulations. Qualifications We Prefer: Good written and oral skills for presenting to a key customer via virtual, onsite, or directly. Craft presentations, briefing notes and reports that convey complex information effectively to government related officials. Knowledge of Patriot system with experience on Configuration 3+ radar is preferred. Three (3) years' experience working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) Know how to read schematics. Experience with shipping/receiving operations. Experience with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) Knowledge.
