RESPONSIBILITIES
ROLE

The DEC Connectivity Engineer will provide site level support to ensure DEC telecommunication projects are being executed on schedule, within budget and at the level of quality specified. Connectivity Engineer will be the key point of contact for managing the full project life-cycle including project kick-off all the way through production turnover into operations. * Technical Field Lead - Technical lead for industry and Meta standards, responsible to lead product evaluation, design, and installation methods in the field including scope clarification, design and installation details as the owner of the Request for Information process

What You Will Do
Provide logistic support to U. S. Government customer, at the INTEGRATED FIRES MISSION COMMAND Office located on site at the IFMC Field Office in El Paso, Texas.
Represent RTX as liaison between Raytheon and U.S. Government at the IFMC El Paso Field Office.
Prepare parts, kits and documents to move shipments CONUS and OCONUS in support of the warfighter, Patriot Battalion Fieldings, and Modification teams maintaining Patriot equipment.
Assist in shipping and receiving of assets in warehouse and maintaining warehouse stock to support all aspects of Patriot program. This includes inventories of items in warehouse and ordering replacement parts for warehouse stock.
Maintain databases to track and report all shipments from the IFMC Field Office. This includes providing cost data on shipments of parts, Modification Kits and Major End Items.
Provide technical and engineering support to IFMC, Depots and Patriot battalions worldwide. Research and find solutions to various technical and logistical problems found within the Patriot Air Defense System using prints, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Manuals (TMs), and other resources. This includes providing replacement parts and technical assistance for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) as well as U.S. owned systems.
Investigate alternative sources of supply for parts and materials not in normal supply system used in PATRIOT program.
Verify, as needed, parts and process instructions using prints, ECPs, TMs and Modification Work Orders (MWOs).
Work with other contractors in the IFMC Field Office to support special projects as assigned by the U. S. Government customer.
Travel as needed to represent the Field Office in support of the program.

Qualifications You Must Have:
