Summary: In this role, you will support the smooth operation of Vizient's technology infrastructure serving both internal and external customers. You will perform a broad range of activities including day-to-day administration of mobile devices, security, and unified communications environments, with an emphasis on Microsoft 365 (M365), MS Teams, Exchange Online, and associated M365 E5 technologies. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams to help maintain a highly reliable and high-performing unified communications and collaboration infrastructure. You will assist with troubleshooting, incident resolution, and user provisioning, and will participate in ongoing projects related to technology upgrades and migrations. Responsibilities: * Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related applications. * Partner with business units to understand technology needs and provide practical solutions. * Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance across systems. * Assist in creating and delivering training sessions, job aids, and communications to improve end-user experience. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across supported platforms. * Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, implement changes, and ensure successful adoption of new technologies. * Contribute to the design, improvement, and documentation of IT processes, standards, and Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs). * Ensure system documentation, diagrams, and knowledge articles are accurate and up to date. * Participate in change management, ensuring that updates are properly tested and communicated. * Work with senior engineers and architects to implement new solutions and upgrades. * Will be part of an on-call rotation. * Provide Tier 2/3 support to Service Desk escalations. Qualifications: * Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree preferred. * 2 or more years of progressive IT experience in service desk, end-user support, telecommunications, and networking required. * Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 (M365) and MS Teams in a distributed enterprise environment required. * Experience with Exchange Online, unified communications, and collaboration platforms required. * Proficient with Excel, including basic reporting and data analysis required. * Familiarity with RemedyForce or other incident management tools preferred. * Experience with PowerBI and PowerBI dashboarding preferred. * Proficiency with PowerShell command-line operations; scripting experience preferred. * Experience working with telecom systems and vendors preferred. * Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear technical documentation. * Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. * Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to process improvements. Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. Accesses, proposes, and delivers LAN/WAN/VLAN networking solutions. Researches and recommends network and communication technologies. Develops, administers, and promotes proactive system standards, procedures, and protocols, including configurations and system security. Maintains file server asset and license information. Installs, configures, supports and maintains the Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, internet systems, VLAN, PCs, printers, servers, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and other computer peripheral hardware utilized by Norwegian American Hospital. Monitors network and resolves issues to ensure all systems are available for users and patients. Assists in system performance tuning and capacity management. Performs routine backups and archival of systems according to current policy and procedures, and assists with data and system disaster recovery procedures as necessary. Develops and maintains downtime procedures and disaster recovery plans. Utilizes task tracking and quality change control management processes and tools. Participates in the planning and evaluation of current and future system needs in support of ongoing business requirements. Administers user account and system security adds, deletions, and change requests to ensure data integrity, patient confidentiality, and overall system security, including dial in solutions, VPN, and other Secure portal accesses. Provides technical training to others in the Information Technology Department as needed. Provides one-on-one or class room training related to Information Technologies. Directs and oversees the technical tasks of others, including multi-disciplinary teams. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar coursework preferred. A+, MCP, MCSE Certification or equivalent preferred. 5 or more years of experience.
