The Opportunity
Global System Integrators (GSI) play a vital role in the Company`s growth plans in the coming three years.
Reporting to the VP Global Alliances and Channels, the Global Head of GSI Alliance will be responsible for helping partners to bloom and grow their business with the Company services and solutions. The role will involve managing a small global team (around 5 heads).
The role will work closely with their GSI partners throughout their sales cycles and across their sales organizations to facilitate The Company`s Product based solutions and opportunities, as well as help GSI build long term digital transformation platforms with The Company`s Product stacks and services.
Thei successful candidate will be responsible for building trusted relationships with partners, increasing the clients`s market share and attach rate, transform about the partnership and lead all business interactions from engineers to CxO level. The Head of Global Systems Integrator Alliances will own the strategy, the sell‑to, sell‑through and sell‑with motions with the GSI and will animate many sales event, customer workshops, executive engagements and public presentations.

Responsibilities
Ownership over our data center infrastructure, tasked with all aspects of keeping it up and operating in an optimal and reliable manner
Contacting third-party vendors about remote equipment installation and maintenance and then supervising those projects through completion
Performing hardware installation and troubleshooting existing hardware
Documenting both new and established procedures to establish and foster best practices firmwide
Cooperating with other engineers to provide stable and secure deployments of new infrastructure components
Working with network engineers to reliably upgrade and replace old network equipment
Developing an automated provisioning system and keeping the inventory system up to date
Troubleshooting software issues that might be related to hardware failures
Providing in-office hardware support
Working as part of an in-office team to collaborate directly with our experienced traders and technologists on brainstorming and implementing creative solutions to a wide range of problems
Requirements
BA/BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related experience
2+ years of experience in related field
Hands-on experience cabling, racking, and installing bare metal servers, network devices, and network cards
Experience with remote management tools for servers (iDrac, iLO)
Understanding of automated provisioning tools (PXE, Foreman) and ability to create installation files (kickstart, preseed)
Experience with Linux at the administration level (Debian, CentOS)
Working experience with Windows is a plus
Practical knowledge of inventory tools (Netbox)
Good understanding of monitoring tools (Icinga2, Grafana, ELK)
Experience with infrastructure management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
Good management skills with ticketing and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash or other) is a plus
Experience in a low latency environment a strong plus, e.g., Solarflare, Onload, PTP
Additional Requirements
Flexibility to occasionally work outside of core business hours and on weekends.
Ability to travel and provide support to other regions occasionally as needed.
