The SystemsEngineer will be part of a talented team of systemsengineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Essential Functions And Responsibilities:
Safety
Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines.
Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately.
Tasks
Monitoring and support of servers, storage, telecommunications, ERP, and network systems.
Engage with external vendors/resources as required to support IT infrastructure.
Execute the IT change control process during the execution of critical IT system changes.
Participate as required in the execution of IT infrastructure procedures.
Participate as required in IT project requirement definition, solution research, validation, implementation, and documentation.
Participate in the implementation of systems to automate IT tasks, enhance security, and prevent service interruptions.
Act as tier-3 IT support as required for local and remote users including monitoring the operating environments, responding to incidents, problems, and planning for growth.
Overall end-user system profile provisioning process across all platforms including logical and physical access.
Participate in all aspects of IT project execution and day-to-day IT functions including technical innovation, change control and documentation.
Qualifications:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
1-4 years of experience managing servers, storage, telecommunications, and network systems.
Ability to appropriately prioritize support needs and delegate where appropriate.
Ability to support Enterprise IT systems utilizing both internal and third-party resources.
Understands Enterprise IT best practices for security, standardization, availability, and support.
Understands promote-to-production environment as well as change control processes.
Desire to continually learn new technologies and improve skill set.
Strong verbal, written, telephone and public relations skills.
Technical Knowledge Required
Experience with Microsoft Client and Server Operating Systems.
Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows based environments. Knowledge of Active Directory Administration (User, Group, Computer, Group Policy).
Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
Experience with network architecture and connectivity, setup and install, support and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills
Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Citrix).

What You'll Be Doing:
You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the MES solution at IDAP, ensuring that it meets the site's operational, quality, and compliance needs. The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position include:
Serve as a Tier 3 resource and escalation point for the rest of the Service Desk team on networking tickets, as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents to return service to clients as quickly as possible.
Provide network analysis, response, and remediation support, as needed.
