Job Description:
Basic Knowledge of Network Devices such as Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points preferably CISCO, Riverbed
• Basics knowledge / understanding of assigning switch ports to specific VLANs
• Patch phone ports to switch as needed
• Basic troubleshooting of Avaya VOIP phones (knowledge on basic configuration)
• Troubleshoot issues with fiber links between switches - Able to visualize errors and communicate to remote technical teams
• Troubleshoot and replace network switch chassis blades when required
• Good to have understanding of any Data Center Infrastructure Management Application

What You'll Do:
· Provide technical expertise and project leadership for liquid process system projects at all stages including pre-sales, detail engineering, fabrication, FAT, installation, startup, SAT & customer training.

· Generate RFQ's, ERP BOM's, and RMA's as needed
· Provide process engineering guidance for pre-engineering site reviews, installation review/supervision, startup assistance, and system acceptance testing.
· Ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple departments, including Project Management, Electrical Engineering, and Field Service to develop a cohesive, high-performing project team focused on flawless execution.
· Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
· Assist in the development of company engineering design procedures and standards.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

How you'll make an Impact
As the SystemsEngineer (SE) you will primarily focus on project planning and design, implementation, documenting, and supporting a wide variety of client IT projects and initiatives. The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $73,000.00 and $106,000.00 per year, plus an annual on-target bonus if applicable, not all roles are subject to a bonus. Job & Responsibilities:
IT Engineer I participates in software engineering development projects.
Uses both hardware and software engineering experience to aid project planning, design, business analysis, development, test and vendor management.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent. 3-4 years related work experience.
MUST WORK ON SITE IN OVERLAND PARK OFFICE ****
Shift flexibility required:
Least one weekend day (Sat or Sun) and that could be dayshift or evening.
If evening, their shift will end no later than 10pm.
This is a Tier 2 support position with IT Network Operations and position requires 11X7 support.
Tier2 personnel are also responsible for providing second level support for network equipment including routers, switches, content engines, broadband modems, Rap5s and AP105s.
In addition, Tier 2 personnel will work with vendors who manage multiple carriers/LEC s for connectivity restoral and assist with managing chronic issues to permanent solution.
Also may get involved in supporting/troubleshooting wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms to include broadband (cable, dsl, metro E), T1 circuit infrastructure and wifi networks.
Will accept recent college graduates.
