their knowledge of Medi-Tech, PACS, RIS, Voice Activated Dictation Systems or comparable vendor
products to plan, coordinate, and direct the day-to-day operations of the RIS/PACS system. Plan and
direct the implementation of short and long-term strategies, policies, and procedures, including
planning for renovations and expansion of Radiology systems to the Institution.
Responsibilities:
? Day-to-day operations of the PACS/RIS system
? Maintain integrity of PACS security, training, troubleshooting, and follow-up
? Coordinate special projects for PACS/RIS
? Coordinate installation of new PACS/RIS
? Set up and supervise training on PACS/RIS (radiologist, technologist, etc.)
? Participate in equipment buying team
? Assist with PACS/RIS planning for the operating budget
? Coordinate Cardiology PACS and Dictation activities
? Participates at Full Team Meetings and Radiation Safety Committee
? Coordinate interactive/interface activities with vendors
Requirements:
? At least 3 years of clinical experience in radiology related work required
? 1-2 years’ experience in computer and networks highly preferred
? Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or related field required, Master’s preferred
