Your Impact The focus of the maintenance team is to keep equipment in the RDC fully operational. The RDC Maintenance Mechanic I is a knowledgeable repair person with exposure to and experience with RDC systems and building components. The Maintenance Mechanic I has specialist knowledge and complex repair capability in one of the following areas: conveyors, rolling stock, or building. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Amusement Ride Mechanic to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of amusement rides and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest safety. Must have good mechanical aptitude and interests with knowledge of hand tools and attention to detail. Responsible for disassembly, dimensional analysis, evaluation, repair, and assembly of various types of 'high energy' industrial pumps. Responsibilities: Dismantle pumps into individual components utilizing hand/air tools, power tools, torch sets, cranes, etc.Examine/Inspect components with micrometers, dial indicators, depth micrometers, hardness tester, etc.Complete forms and supplement with written reports of findings from inspections.Assemble pumps with conventional and state-of-the-art methods.Some day trips for field service jobs Qualifications: Previous experience as a mechanic or pump experience.Fluent in shop equipment such as micrometers, torque wrenches, oxy/acetylene torches, overhead cranes, tow motor, and other industrial tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Organized and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Schedule: 10 hour; 1st shift; M-F.
