This role supports the Director of Segment Marketing, as well as the marketing team and relationship managers in the U.S. and Canada to execute marketing strategies and initiatives. The role will interact with resources from other departments, such as investment management, global brand management, and shared services, to produce and disseminate high level, institutional quality content, presentations, advertising, and PR that positively positions and differentiates T. Rowe Price in the marketplace, and increases awareness, consideration and selection by institutional investors.
Responsibilities
Tactical planning and execution in support of identified business initiatives coupled with creative idea generation: Partners with cross-functional peers and segment leads in the execution of multichannel marketing plans aligned to specific populations of prospects and clients. Analyzes and monitors relevant industry trends and draws on investment and market knowledge to make informed recommendations and decisions. Collects data and assesses and synthesizes key performance indicators to provide recommendations and tactical marketing plan adjustments as well as for reporting and benchmarking.
Manages the development and execution of integrated investment marketingcampaigns: Drawing on investment and market knowledge, as well as marketing and project management skills, manages the development of engaging, timely and meaningful output and integrated campaigns to support identified strategies and/or initiatives. Provides direction and input on content. Manages appropriate resources in the creation and production of output from initial idea through final, legally approved product, as well as dissemination and measurement. Output includes but is not limited to presentation decks, sales and client collateral, advertisements, web content, social media content, investment insights, email promotions and newsletters.
Manages projects: Gathers required background and perspective from lead segment marketer, Americas relationship managers, investment professionals and other business unit managers, to provide informed direction to creative, writing and legal teams. Ensures projects are properly executed and content meets the desired need within the agreed timeframe.
Ad Hoc Projects: Supports various ad hoc marketing projects and initiatives as appropriate including cross business unit efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
5+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
5+ years of experience that combines marketing, communications, and investments preferably with an investment management firm
Experience working in the institutional asset management field with base knowledge of institutional investment strategies
Knowledge of financial markets and investing
Intellectual curiosity and knowledge of current trends in the Institutional marketplace
Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
Marketing and project management related experience
Self-motivated, team-oriented, responsible, creative thinker and problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a personal drive to impact business results

The role:

What you'll need:
8+ years of relevant experience desired, primarily in capital markets and ABS execution
