HDR is hiring a Senior Construction Inspector to work as a member of our Florida CEI (Construction Engineering and Inspection) program. This is a great opportunity to work on fast-paced, short duration projects within Florida. The inspector will primarily work independently on FDOT projects consisting of milling and resurfacing, bridge construction, signalization, earthwork operations, stripping operations, and final estimate preparation. They will interact on a daily basis with FDOT Project Administrators and other FDOT personnel. * Proficiency in FDOT estimation tools (e.g., Estimator, LRE system) and familiarity with the Design Manual and Basis of Estimates (BOE).
* Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to provide cost evaluations and recommendations.
* Significant estimating experience (10+ years), preferably in construction management or general construction.
* Experience in heavy construction including sitework, deep foundations, supports of excavation, site utilities, concrete, and steel construction.

* Mechanical and/or electrical estimating experience is a plus.

Primary Functions
