**Job Summary**
We're looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our organization, which prides itself on offering innovative mechanical solutions to everyday problems. While serving as mentor to the production teams, the mechanical engineer will engage in rigorous design and analysis processes using the most up-to-date technologies and software. The ideal candidate will have experience hyper-scale data centers ranging from 50MW facilities up to 1.5GW campuses. The role requires 15-20 years of Data Center Mechanical Design Engineering, Consulting and leadership experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility delivering mission critical infrastructure services focused on Enterprise and Colocation Data Center Hyper-Scale environments. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of hands on, direct client facing project management in our primary market sectors, with an emphasis in the Data Center design.
The primary job responsibility objective is to increase the Data Cener Industry market share and mission critical engineering profitability of the team in accordance with company objectives along with developing innovative, long-range strategy annual plans and enhance the company's culture. Enhancing leadership and operations through daily professional conduct. The position is responsible for the day-to-day management of client mechanical engineering design solutions and execution of work.

What You'll Do:
The primary focus of this role will be to manage construction projects, ensuring that they are scheduled and built according to plans and specifications, overseeing budget and communications, and overseeing the design and safety during construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Review plans for conformance with applicable specifications, building codes, regulations, etc.
Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and design professionals.
Review/develop cost estimates, change orders, requests for information and project submittals.
Report project status regarding budget, schedule, and workmanship to project owners.
Review technical & price proposals, task budgets and invoices by utilizing/collaborating with clients' Internal Services Departments (i.e. Marketing, Accounting/Finance, Contract Administrators, etc.).
Collaborate and coordinate with other support team members such as Landscape Architecture, Electrical, Traffic, Plan Review, Program Management, Environmental, Utilities, Hydraulics, Bridge, Geotech, Material Testing and others to ensure delivery of projects on schedule and budget.
Oversee contract correspondence.
Resolve disputes between contractors and project owners.
Monitor and assess project staffing needs.
Supervise inspectors, materials testers and other PRIME associates assigned to a project.

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE), or Construction-Manager-In-Training (CMIT), or Project Management Professional (PMP), or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of project management practices and principles.
Working knowledge of CPM scheduling, materials testing and other engineering practices and principles.
Knowledge and ability to interpret construction contracts and plans.

In the role of Structural Engineer, we'll count on you to
* Independently coordinate the work of the structural design team from schematic design through the design development and contract document phases of a project.
* Collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team (architecture, MEP engineering, civil engineering, etc.) to lead the production of the structural deliverables for projects.
* Analyze and design components of the superstructure for building projects.
* Mentor and train structural interns and EITs within the department and across business groups.

The Bridge Project Manager is responsible for pursuit and delivery of transportation design related projects involving preliminary engineering and plans, specification, and estimate (PS&E) projects.
