The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of the electrical systems supporting our client data center operations. These systems maybe block or distributed redundant. * Ensure electrical systems meet industry standards, codes, and regulations such as NEC, UL and NFPA. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine electrical designs for new builds, retrofits, upgrades, or expansions recommend and implement engineering changes to accommodate customer data center facilities. * Deliver conceptual designs of the electrical infrastructure for greenfield and brownfield data centers * Perform brownfield site design and evaluation to including retro-fits, upgrades and expansions of electrical infrastructure and systems. Evaluations will be conducted as discovery, assessment, analysis, planning, recommendations and execution. * Perform greenfield site design of electrical infrastructure and systems. This includes calculations, sizing systems, validation and vendor integration. * Conduct electrical load analysis and power systems modeling to optimize performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. * Perform failure and root cause analysis investigations on electrical equipment implementing corrective actions improving resiliency and reliability. * Oversee electrical equipment procurement, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance with manufacturer specifications. * Technically evaluate equipment quotations, reviews supplier Bill of Materials, equipment data packages and validate assembly drawings. * Validate vendor systems maintenance programs and procedures. Service and Maintenance level agreements. Evaluate and validate RFP cost models. * Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in the electrical engineering team. * Prepare and review detailed engineering design and reports, conceptual, planning and final reports, electrical schematics, conceptual drawings, construction plans and tests * Preform as client representative to external contractors, vendors, service providers, suppliers and utilities to ensure timely and quality execution of electrical systems installation and maintenance. * Oversee qualification and commissioning of data center mission critical infrastructure. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 10-15 years of experience with at least 4 years delivering hyper-scale data center electrical systems design or mission critical electrical infrastructure. * Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and systems. Low voltage switch gear automatic transfer switch, transformers, backup generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), power distribution units (PDUs), remote power panels (RPP) and overhead power busways. * Hands-on experience with utilities coordination of large load interconnect studies, facilities and systems impact studies, power modeling and electrical load analysis. * In-depth understanding and application of power safety electrical codes, NEC, UL, NFPA and other applicable electrical codes. * Proficiency in designing and analyzing electrical systems for hyper-scale data center environments, including power redundancy and system resiliency. * Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience leading project teams' delivery single building initiatives ranging from 10-60MW and multi building hyper-scale campuses 60MW up to 1.5GW. * Agility and ability to work in fast-paced environment handling multiple projects simultaneously. * Experience with energy-efficient electrical solutions and sustainability practice is a plus. Professional Experience Requirements * Professional Engineer (PE) license. * 15-20 years of experience in the Electrical Engineering/Consultant & Services Contractor * Extensive experience in the Data Center industry a must * Experience with SCADA systems, BMS, DCIM and automation systems for data center mission critical infrastructure. * Knowledge of advanced power system protection, monitoring, and control systems. * Experience in designing high-density and ultra-high density hyper-scale and high-performance data center environments. * List any licenses or certifications required by the position: IEEE Certified Systems Engineering Profession (CSEP), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Travel * This position may include both local project related travel and other travel such as industry conferences. This travel is typically during the week and 1-3 days in duration. The selected Bridge Project Manager will perform structural design, technical oversight, staff development, contract management, technical and cost proposal development, project performance and client management for targeted statewide and regional clients. Engineer Project Managers openly share technical knowledge and mentor and supervise engineers in assignments such as preparing studies, reports and supporting documentation; quantities and construction cost estimates; and construction drawings needed for bridge, public works and transportation design related projects. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience on new, widening, retrofit, and replacement bridge projects, and retaining wall projects with ODOT, Ohio Turnpike and AASHTO LRFD design standards. This is a structural design position and we will only consider candidates with skills and experience in that area of expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES Reviews project proposal or plan to determine scope, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project and staffing requirements Provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel on specific tasks Prepare scope of work and cost estimate for proposals Manages staff utilization by scheduling, monitoring and revising assignments. Present both oral and written format Provide quality control, quality assurance for bridge design project of simple and complex nature Performs technical analyses, calculations and design tasks as needed Occasional to moderate travel may be required Other duties as assigned PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Management, or similar degree Ohio P.E. is required 10+ years of experience in bridge design and transportation engineering, with a minimum of 2 years managing bridge related projects or tasks Familiarity with Ohio DOT standards and procedures Proficiency with bridge analysis and design software programs Experience in using Microstation and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint Ability to lead and interact with multi-disciplined teams A background in business development, proposal writing, networking and strong listener of client's needs is preferred COMPENSATION The approximate compensation range for this position is $100,942 to $157,643. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Key Responsibilities: Serves as Design and/or Project Manager on key water and wastewater treatment projects. Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of projects. Regularly develops and evaluates project plans. Provides leadership, direction and technical guidance on water and wastewater projects. Assesses the feasibility and soundness/validity of proposed engineering evaluations when necessary data are insufficient. Ensures proper quality control procedures are implemented on all projects. Conducts peer reviews and makes technical presentations. Identifies potential clients and project opportunities. Secures and manages clients and contracts. Assists/collaborates with the Marketing Dept regarding proposal writing and contract generation. Mentors Junior Staff. What You'll Bring: B.S Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain reciprocity. Minimum 6 years working as a Water / Wastewater Engineer related to water and wastewater system studies, water quality analyses, pump station design, water distribution and storage, booster pump stations, water treatment, wastewater collection and pump stations, and wastewater treatment design. Experience in a wide range of projects to include NPDES permitting, water and wastewater master planning, water quality analyses and studies, regulatory compliance, water and wastewater system studies/reports or associated design of water and wastewater infrastructure improvements. 5+ years of experience as a Design Manager for projects is a very strong plus!
