**Job Summary**
TYLin is seeking a Scheduler to join our Rail and Transportation team. In this role, you will develop, manage, and maintain project schedules to ensure the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, you will provide accurate schedule updates, analyze progress, and identify risks to keep projects on track. **Responsibilities & Qualifications**
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Participate in logistical and delivery and work force planning with project personnel, and incorporate into a CPM schedule using Primavera P6 Software.
+ Review and provide comment on contractor prepared baseline, update and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 Software.
+ Attend project progress and schedule meetings.
+ Accurately track contractor work progress related to schedule.
+ Maintain liaison with client and other consultants at all project stages.
+ Identify improvements for schedule procedures, templates and products, and refer ideas to appropriate line manager.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ BS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
+ 5-8 years of construction project scheduling experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Understanding of construction scheduling processes preferred.
+ Familiarity with and knowledge of Primavera P6 preferred.
+ Certifications with PMI or AACEI is also preferable.

The primary duties of the Southern California Waterfront Infrastructure Leader include:

Preferred Qualifications
* BS or BA degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in CEQA & NEPA environmental
documentation, regulatory compliance and permitting and familiarity with the suite of technical disciplines required to
support water resource projects (e.g. hydrology and wetlands, soils and geology, cultural resources, vegetation and
wildlife, and GIS)
* Master's degree in environmental science, water resources, or related field is preferred
* Substantial CEQA & NEPA experience with Southern California water agencies, such as the City and
County of San Diego and/or Los Angeles, southern California Water Agencies/Districts, such as MWD, SDCWA, and/or
OCSD, State water agencies such as the State Water Resources Control Board or Department of Water Resources, and
Federal water agencies, such as the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation or U. S. Army Corps of Engineers
* Experience writing proposals, developing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for complex environmental projects with multidisciplinary
teams and multi-agency efforts. - A minimum of 2 years of project management experience - Proficiency with MS Office
suite, strong people skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills
* The candidate should demonstrate strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, research abilities, and possess a comprehensive understanding of federal and state water resource regulatory policy

What We're Looking For The time is right to join HNTB's growing Design-Build (DB) Organization! We are seeking a Senior Drainage Design Manager. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading teams on fast-paced transportation projects and have subject matter expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management.
This individual is a key team member, responsible for producing high-quality drainage deliverables on projects and pursuits and leading teams to achieve HNTB's 4 for 4 performance goals: delivering quality work on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction on every project.
This successful candidate will proactively manage the budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, and client communications to support each project's objectives. Also, providing high-level technical direction while managing and reviewing design-related specifications, calculations, reports, and plans. Coordinates with internal and external partners to address and solve design-related problems and issues. The candidate will typically manage the drainage component for several mega ($5M to < $25M) or super mega (> $25M) projects.

What You'll Do:
* Responsible for development of the project scope and fee quotation and assists in the preparation of technical proposals and contracts in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Contracting Approach (SCA).
* Serves as the primary client liaison and manages the project team to deliver the scope, schedule, and budgets to completion and to the client's satisfaction. Leads client contract scoping and negotiations.
* Performs technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production for assigned projects.
* Implements the firm's project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project. Leads the development and the execution of the project management plan. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.
* Responsible for/oversees project staffing, including, but not limited to; recruitment, development, retention and succession of project staff; development of plan for project staff reporting; and support for performance and compensation reviews.
* Partners with Client Service Leaders and pursuit champions to assist with business development, building client relationships, and pursuit efforts for mega and super mega projects in accordance with HNTB's Sophisticated Sales Approach (SSA). Works with the project team and marketing resources to prepare appropriate proposal and presentation materials. Leads proposal development and interview presentations for strategic, mini-mega or mega projects to the client as well as general presentations within the industry and community.
* May be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, development and retention of staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession.

* Hydrology and hydraulics design of surface water runoff collection and conveyance systems, stormwater management design, open channel modeling, scour analysis, and mitigation measures.
* Proficient with standard industry software (Microstation, InRoads Drainage, GEOPAK Drainage, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Storm CAD, HEC-RAS 1D & 2D, SWMM, PondPack, Culvert Master, Flow Master, etc.)
What We Prefer:
* Master's degree in Engineering
* 15+ years of relevant experience in the design of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management on fast-paced transportation infrastructure projects, including progression to task and project management.
* Professional Engineer (PE) certification, and the ability to obtain PE in multiple states
* Excellent communication skills
* Familiarity with construction methods and the ability to optimize designs accordingly.
* Familiarity with permitting on the federal, state, and local levels.
* CA PE preferred
