Responsibilities & Qualifications What You'll Do: * Contribute technical expertise on ITS, ATMS, and transportation technology projects. * Develop design plans, specifications, and systems engineering documentation in line with FHWA guidelines. * Support planning efforts, including master plans, concept of operations, and policy documents. * Conduct field work, equipment testing, and infrastructure verification. * Prepare technical reports, specifications, and electrical design documents. * Apply knowledge across the ITS/ATMS lifecycle-from planning and design to implementation and operations. * Stay current on emerging technologies and assess applications for transportation safety, operations, and maintenance. * Assist with proposals, marketing, and participation in industry events. What You'll Need: * Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field. * 5-10 years of relevant ITS/ATMS experience. * PE license required. * Familiarity with FHWA Systems Engineering processes. * Willingness to travel for projects and client needs. * Strong technical background in ITS/ATMS planning, design, and systems engineering. * Effective problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. * Ability to build strong client and team relationships. * Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving technologies and project needs. Additional Information TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $77,800 - $138,000 annually for this position and local market.
