Purpose The Laborer position performs all duties as directed by the Transfer Supervisor related to equipment operation, traffic control, spotting trucks for dumping, assisting in cleaning, and maintaining vehicles, buildings, grounds, and public roadways.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
Operate SWACO equipment and vehicles as needed including but not limited to skid-steer, forklift, front-end loader;
Presort municipal solid waste to remove items that cannot be sent to landfill;
Operate mechanical or electronic scale controls and complete weigh tickets;
Fuel vehicles and equipment;
Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles/equipment and complete required DVIR forms;
Maintain worksite in a clean and safe condition;
Pick up litter at SWACO facilities and assigned highways and roadways;
Perform custodial duties at all SWACO facilities;
Rake leaves, sweep sidewalks, pick up rubbish and paper, shovel snow and salt walkways at all SWACO facilities;
Direct traffic to proper area for dumping and assures that vehicles are located properly prior to dumping;
Open facility gates for business and lock gates at end of day;
Assist with facility beautification projects, (i.e. paint, clean up, minor repairs);
Maintain restrooms and replenish supplies daily;
Assist maintenance personnel as needed, and
Assist mechanic during the performance of basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including, but not limited to changing tires and retrieving parts.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required, and
Experience in maintenance activities and light/medium equipment operation preferred.

* Must follow safety practices as required by the County; e.g. Arc flash safety, chemicals and associated SDS's, Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, CPR and first aid, gas monitoring equipment, safe climbing practices, forklift operation, crane operations, etc;
* Responds timely to declared county emergencies and other emergency situations that may require the use of equipment to protect the public health;
* Maintains readiness and have the ability to properly use portable generators, portable pumps, and all other emergency response equipment;
* Operates, calibrates, and maintains chemical feed systems for odor control throughout the sewer district;
* Assists with composite sampling at site locations of industrial/commercial accounts; Regularly cleans the field sampling equipment, maintains, and orders replacement parts, as needed;
* Clears blocked sewer lines;

Line Agents are responsible for taking incoming crisis calls, completing an initial clinical assessment, and determining the next level of service. The Line Agent is responsible for dispatching referrals in a timely manner, making subsequent follow-up calls as needed, and ensuring the quality and integrity of data entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

The Recording Crew Line Worker provides the primary labor in the operational aspects of each job, and if they have a Driver's License approved by Paragon's insurance company, assists in assigned driving duties.
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to OSHA safety standards and be attentive to safety issues on jobsite, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Layout and recovery of cables, geophones, and related seismic equipment across all terrains and in all weathers, as directed by Head Linesman and Senior Observer/Observer.
Clean jobsite as equipment is recovered, and keep site maintained throughout duration of job.
Help keep vehicles clean inside and outside.
Driving duties as assigned
Complete any and all other tasks assigned by Head Linesman and Senior Observer/Observer, and follow any other directions given by Recording Crew Manager.

Work Environment:
The Recording Crew Line Worker works in remote isolated outdoor environments, subject to extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow and sudden changes in temperatures. Terrain may be uneven, slippery, inclined or unstable. Work may also be performed along highways, cross over roads, and involve water crossings. Exposure to dust, dirt, fumes and vibration are expected and there is potential for exposure to corrosive battery acid.
The Recording Crew Line Worker works 7 days per week, with long hours and extensive overtime, but no guaranteed number of hours per week. Schedules fluctuate and shifts may be allocated on a day or night basis due to weather conditions and operational needs. Extensive travel from job to job is required with lodging provided in motels near the jobsite.

Progression
Team members will be assessed on their progression and capabilities through an annual evaluation or an out of cycle evaluation. For the annual evaluation, team members will complete a self-evaluation, while their supervisor will also complete an annual review. The process is imitated for the out of cycle evaluation. Once the self and supervisor evaluations are completed, the performance evaluation is reviewed by the workforce development planning group with respect to the areas of safety, quality, customer service, training record, hours of equipment operation and years in position/tenure. Kwest General superintendents and the director of field operations will recommend for a team member's classification compensation advancement or reclassification. Kwest Group president will review each recommendation and give the final approval for a classification compensation advancement or reclassification. An approved recommendation is then forwarded to the Director of HR for execution of advancement or reclassification. The team member's foreman and general superintendent will discuss with the team member regarding their evaluation and any change in compensation or classification.
Education and Qualifications
* Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
* The average work week would consist of 5 ten-hour days, but schedule will be dictated by project needs.

* Must be able to hear with or without the use of a hearing device and clearly see at least 30 feet with or without the use of corrective vision lens.
* Must be able work while wearing a respirator if necessary.
* Alternate standing and walking on uneven terrain surfaces, such as hillsides, muddy and icy soils, and other working surfaces. Safe negotiation of all types of surface conditions will always be required.
* Bending, squatting, and kneeling will be required frequently during a workday.

Summary:
Perform many different tasks, such as, clean-up, demolition, and stocking materials. Ensures that all trades on the project have what is needed to complete the job.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Load, transport, unload, and furnish Journeyman with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.
Erect scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
Build concrete forms
Perform variety of tasks involving use of hands and tools, such as demolishing buildings, sawing lumber, and dismantling forms.

Must be able to work rapidly and accurately with hands.
