The Branch Administration & Operations (BAO) Business Analysis Team is a First Line of Defense function whose responsibility is to proactively Identify issues created by actions in the field that are not in compliance with our policies and procedures.

Across the firm, and as agreed with our auditors and regulators, it is an expectation that businesses will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that they are able to operate in compliance with the policies and procedures in effect for their respective businesses.

The functions performed by the BAO Business Analysis team enable us, as a First Line of Defense function for the Consumer Bank, to do the following:
Key Responsibilities:

• Critical resource supporting the Safe Deposit Box, Operational team by developing a robust understanding of the development needed to support the data environment and operational processes

• Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements

• Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards

• Developer within the team supporting Business Intelligence reporting (e.g., Tableau) supporting Safe Deposit Box

• Convert legacy reports to Tableau or other BI solutions

• Lead the migration of tools and applications to modern technology solutions (e.g. Alteryx, Phyton)

• Accountable for delivering timely and accurate information

• Communicate with key stakeholders, understand their demand, manage SLAs and avoid surprises

• Develop robust documentation and adhere to the existing controls in place

• Transition developed reports and dashboards to the business report owners and subject matter experts

• Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiencies in how we operate

• Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision

The Challenge:

Are you an optimist? Do you think outside the box? The perfect blend, a Data Visualization Analyst, with the ability to balance complex data into an engaging narrative that is anchored by facts. You could make an immediate impact through analyzing and filtering large datasets to uncover insights and/or reveal innovative ways to understand the information.

Core Components:

• Identify a compelling narrative (like trends, comparison, rank order, statistical relationships, etc.) and use appropriate visualization method to help display the information effectively.
• Design engaging and interactive business insights dashboards with a focus on user interaction and user experience to increase engagement with the audience.

Prior experience building financial dashboards will be a big plus for this role.

What You'll Tackle:

• Develop relevant, efficient dashboards and visualizations using Tableau utilizing features like interactive filters, parameters, and calculations.
• Elicit business requirements, develop functional specifications, build prototypes, develop visualizations, conduct quality testing and user acceptance testing, own the roll-out and post-launch enhancements implementation.
• Build and edit SQL queries for Tableau data source creation.
• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.

What You'll Bring:

• 2 years+ of experience designing and developing complex dashboards using Tableau.
• Demonstrated ability in UI, UX space (can be concurrent or overlap with Tableau experience) of using a combination of user interface tools such as wire frames, prototypes, mock-ups, or white boarding to illustrate product usability.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries to build Tableau data sources.
• Experience working directly with business partners to capture and validate functional requirements and provide design specifications.

**Position Summary**

As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible to create computer systems and data visualization solutions to improve business processes. This role will include tasks such as generating Tableau dashboard reports, creating business intelligence reports and visualizations, and work with developers.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Design, develop, conducts unit testing, and maintains complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.

+ Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation.

+ Determine the best implementation that will meet the design of the architect.

+ Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team.

+ Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.

+ Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides.

+ Resolve support tickets related to Tableau reports

**Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)**

+ Project management

+ Collaborative

+ Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.

+ Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)

+ Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.

**Education And / Or Experience**

+ 2+ years of experience in Tableau

+ Tableau Desktop Certified Professional

+ Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field.
