POSITION SUMMARYThis position requires a dynamic, self-motivated, organized, energetic and creative strength and conditioning coach with a working experience in either collegiate, soccer academy, minor league and/or professional sports. This position represents one of the key functions within the Red Bull New York franchise structure, to allow players to develop to their best physical potential. This position is full-time.
Job Description
Lead warm up on the field for training sessions and games
Lead strength training and pre-training activation
Collaborate with medical team to create conditioning programs for players in the late stage rehabilitation phase
Lead extra individual training on game day or after training session
Periodize training load with coaching staff daily and weekly
Monitor training loads using GPS (daily, weekly and monthly training load reports)
Implement strength and fitness testing in pre-season and through the season
Organize and implement recovery sessions
Program and monitor off-season strength and conditioning training
Collaborate with strength and conditioning coach from 1st team and academy performance staff to facilitate players movement from teams.
Qualifications
Possess an excellent knowledge of Excel
Available to work on varying schedules and weekends
Strong communication skills, detail-oriented and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Weel organized, enthusiastic, positive energy and committed to the culture developed by the New York Red Bulls and Major League Soccer
EDUCATION
Requirements:
Bachelors in Exercise Science related field
CSCS (NSCA) Certification
Preferred:
Master's in Exercise Science related field
EXPERIENCE
Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a strength and conditioning coach in a college, academy or professional setting
Experience leading sport science initiatives such as GPS, force plates and force decks for strength testing.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay is subject to change and may be modified.
