The average employee age for taggers is 44 years. The tagger workforce reached a whopping 8,905 in 2020!

Among taggers, we discovered that 62.7% of them are women, while 30.3% are men. The most common race/ethnicity among taggers is White, which makes up 66.7% of all taggers. Comparatively, there are 15.3% of the Hispanic or Latino ethnicity and 10.7% of the Black or African American ethnicity. Taggers are also more likely to work at private companies in comparison to public companies. Taking it a step further, taggers are more likely to find a job in the retail industry.

From where do we know all information about tagger demographics? We analyzed 1,043 taggers resumes to find out what the average demographics are for the job position. Just to be clear, by demographics we mean the study of population-based factors like age, race, and sex. On top of scouring through resumes, we also took note of job proposals from employers and Census Bureau data. And guess what? We found some pretty interesting information.

The most common ethnicity among taggers is White, which makes up 66.7% of all taggers. Comparatively, there are 15.3% of the Hispanic or Latino ethnicity and 10.7% of the Black or African American ethnicity.

We assessed our data to determine the typical level of education for taggers. The most common degree for taggers is high school diploma. In fact, 49% of taggers earn that degree. A close second is associate degree with 16% and rounding it off is diploma with 13%.
