Position Summary The Production Manager -- Manufacturing is responsible for leading daily operations across one or more production lines or departments, ensuring that safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are met. This position is both strategic and hands-on, balancing leadership, process management, and problem-solving to maintain smooth production flow. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can motivate and develop teams, and ensures operational discipline, food safety compliance, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production operations across assigned manufacturing lines or departments. Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FDA/USDA, and internal food safety standards. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency to meet production goals. Partner with QA, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to coordinate materials, equipment uptime, and product flow. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including yield, downtime, waste, and line efficiency. Implement and sustain lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Train, mentor, and evaluate production supervisors and team leads. Investigate and resolve production or personnel issues promptly and professionally. Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety compliance. Ensure documentation and reporting accuracy for production runs, inventory usage, and shift performance. Participate in strategic planning for capacity, facility improvements, and capital projects. Support Taher's leadership transition and growth initiatives through collaboration, transparency, and consistent results. Schedule & Compensation Monday--Friday with flexibility for weekend or evening coverage as needed.
