The Materials Management Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring medical supplies, equipment, and contracted services to support clinical and operational functions. This role ensures cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Procure medical supplies, equipment, and services in alignment with organizational needs
Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to maximize value
Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
Analyze inventory levels and usage trends to optimize stock and minimize waste
Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational teams to support budgetary and patient care objectives
Process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor communications
Confirm pricing, rebates, and contract alignment for supplies
Monitor inventory levels in the MM Storeroom
Collaborate with clinical leadership to determine par levels and optimize stock
Identify cost-saving opportunities, alternative products, and standardization options
Utilize the Materials Management Information System (MMIS) for purchasing, tracking, and reporting
Maintain item master accuracy
Facilitate equipment rentals, repairs, and loaners as required
Support value analysis activities and participate in supply chain committees as needed
Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior
Complies with System policies and procedures

Stocks floor as requested, bringing stocking concerns to the attention of management. Addresses concerns as directed.
Works with management to see that daily store upkeep is maintained: includes regularly vacuuming and dusting the store, straightening racks, and organizing and displaying product as needed.
Responsible for seeing that the register counter, dressing rooms and retail floor space are kept clean and organized.
Tags and prices products at the register as directed by Manager or Supervisors.
Rotates to the back for the store to tag and hang product as needed.
Assists with moving products to and from the storage areas.
Assists with loading and unloading of furniture and donations.
Assists with loading and unloading the van.
Discards garbage and recycle, including bags of clothing and shoes. Stuffs the recycle bin.
Works assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays. May work extra shifts to cover sick days or vacations. May fill in at the Incline Thrift location or The Gift Tree.
Supports the mission of Tahoe Forest Hospice in interactions with customers and volunteers.

Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the Surgical Tech contributes to the company's mission and vision by assisting with the provision of safe and effective nursing care in accordance with a defined scope of practice within the operating room. Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery by checking and gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments
Ensure that surgical asepsis is maintained in the handling of instruments, sponges, sutures, drains, needles, and dressings
Assist in the turnover of the O.R. suites between cases, disposing of trash and linens, and cleaning of equipment and environmental surfaces
Prepare procedure room for use the following day by bringing in equipment, setting up, "pulling cases" accurately, and reporting to supervisor items that are needed and not available
Qualifications you will need:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred)
One year experience in an operating room setting (preferably in an ambulatory surgery center)
Ortho experience highly preferred

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Radiologic Technologist - CCL reports directly to the Manager, Cardiac Services, and delivers high quality patient care while producing diagnostic radiographs and angiography.
Utilizes specialized knowledge and skills to perform technical aspects of the procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Acts as a resource person for physicians and staff regarding proper use of radiological equipment, as well as specialized supplies and equipment in the Cath Lab
What qualifications you will need:
Currently registered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Must be certified by the State of California (i.e. CRT)
Must have a current California fluoroscopy permit
Current BLS provider card
Current ACLS provider card
Minimum one-year Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience required
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within 18 months of hire desired
Advanced ECG interpretation skills within three months of hire
