The Child Mind Institute is proud to offer a one-year pre-doctoral internship designed to prepare candidates for a successful career in child and adolescent clinical psychology. The internship will begin as early as July 1, 2026. Consideration will also be given to candidates who will not be able to begin the internship until as late as September 1, 2026. This is an exempt position, located in our New York City headquarters, which offers a generous salary and full benefits, as well as support for learning several evidence-based treatment programs and attending a professional conference. Our pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology offers an extraordinary opportunity for a qualified student to receive structured training in a unique, innovative multidisciplinary setting. Internship training focuses on accurate interviewing and clinical assessment for a wide variety of primary and comorbid presenting mental health concerns-including anxiety disorders, trauma, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, behavior or conduct disorders, among others-as well as various evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.
